Greetings Boss Skinner, Patched Members, Prospects, & Support.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. AZ was perfect riding weather high 70's light breeze mostly sunny. Saturdays breakfast ride with Boogie and the crew was perfect with lots of great conversation and comradery. Afterwards my wife Andrea and I covered about 220 miles riding south and then north on HWY 87 through the Tonto National Forest to Payson, AZ. The thing I wanted to share is the amazing views going north and then coming back south. The road keeps you climbing going north with what looks like a sea of cactus that goes forever in the valleys and over the rolling hills like ocean waves.

We have seen a little rain lately and so the landscape is greener then normal and as you go further north you start to ride into the forest and it becomes greener and even more peaceful and majestic. Imagine your riding on a separated four lane highway with very few travelers and the traffic drops off even more the further north you get.

We found an excellent Asian restaurant in Payson and a old fella that wanted to talk motorcycles "it doesn't get much better".

So I hope by describing this ride that I assure you is only one of hundreds of beautiful and exciting rides available in central AZ. I can only hope this ignites a fire in your NOMAD spirit and you except an open invitation to fined your way to Arizona and join me and others for a ride to remember.

Stay safe, ride hard and keep the fire burning
