I hadn't really intended on riding my Springer to National. But glad I did. I've not taken her out in way too long!
Reason I rode her and not my ElectraGlide was the Glide was in the shop getting goodies added, LED lights all around, smoked lenses, load equalizer. I also changed out the rear tail/brake/license plate lamp assembly for an LED unit also smoked.
My next project, probably next winter, will be 14" apes and associated cables & wires. I'm thinking on external cables, I'd like to have braided stainless steel. To me, that looks good. On the other hand, maybe running internal cables/wires is the way to go. Thoughts? Please feel free to email them to me. Even if it's, "I think you're nuts" I'll at least get a chuckle out of that.
Picked up Betty (ElectraGlide) yesterday. Left the dealership, had dinner and don't you know it RAINED all the way home. Practically everyone whose ridden with me knows how that goes. Right Skinner? LOL
Anyway, just checking in. They tell me it'll be Summer here one day. Yeah, I'm thinking one day is going to be about it. Hope I don't miss it.
