Greetings Everyone. As I was reading through the posts here, I was a little disappointed to see the one from Grump. As he seemed to criticize us for not keeping in touch with him, the information goes both ways. I know I personally contacted him several times the past few years with no response back from him. For whatever reason, some of us don’t seem to check our emails for several days, and that’s okay, but when you do, you should as least respond to let us know if you are okay or not. I know several people in the club at the National Meeting mentioned that they tried and couldn’t get a hold of Grump, and wondered what happened to him. PEOPLE, if you never respond to your emails, phone calls, or texts, how can we get in touch with you?? Not too many of us live within less that an hour drive, one way from each other, and most of us is much further than that.
We are a Brotherhood, and a damn good one at that! I think most of us know that if you need something, let us know. We can only help if we know something is wrong. Answer your emails, take your phone calls (or return them), answer your texts. That’s the only way we can know if everything is okay. We will respond if you let us know.
There! I got that off my chest. Please keep in touch with other. It’s more important than ever. As we grow older, we tend to slow down, but it doesn’t mean we don’t care. We have a strong brotherhood, so let’s keep it that way. Keep in touch with each other often. If you are having a challenge, let us know. We’ve got your 6!
