Greetings Boss patched members, prospects and supporters. A lot to talk about. Had my 80th birthday got a surprise birthday party from my family at Post 34 Cave Creel Az American Legion.
Was selected for the Honor Flight told my cousin in Ft Worth she wanted the details turns out her daughter is a pilot for Southwest. I finally got to meet her when I entered the plane family reunion.
Got home left for Indiana to visit my sister and an old Army brother. Afraid he may not be around for long Agent Orange. I've known him for 56 yrs...
Read Grumps report. Afraid I can't agree with him. There are times we keep to ourselves I can't blame my brothers if they have no knowledge of my hurt. I know everyone lives apart staying in touch is an individuals responsibility. We in the SW are lucky we meet twice a week and it is easy to keep track of our brothers. The Club is what you make it.
We are hoping that all our brothers can make it to Nationals this year.
Got a Prospect here in Az. Rides a trike. He belonged to the Viet Nam Vets but said that the Legasy's were taking over felt like he know longer belonged. His name is Dale and he is hoping to meet everyone in June.
By the way on the way home my bike blew it's engine SW of Odessa. 763 dollars to get my bike to the harley shop. Son borrowed a trailerand picked me up. Getting a rebuild so a new motor at 57,000 miles all under warranty. Until later keep the rubber to the road. NVFFNV
