Greetings Brothers, Supports and Prospects.

First off, everyone please say hello and Welcome Home to our newest Brother Jim "Izzy" Isbell. Jim is originally from Oklahoma, currently residing in beautiful NC. I believe he will make an outstanding Brother and Club Member.

Singer came down in her cage with me. Which was good because Izzy's wife came up with him. Great lady.

Had a good ride down from my local AO, a bit chilly but Autumn colours in VA were outstanding!!

Only incident was some cager missed the "single lane ahead" sign and tried to climb into my left saddlebag. Fortunately, he failed in his endeavour, but he may need a brake job when he gets to his destination.

As Dutch says, for many of us our riding season is drawing to a close, for other, especially our Southern & SW Brothers, their season is just getting started. In either case, be safe Brothers.

October 29
Hit the road. Was cold with 20% chance of rain.
All the oils are changed on the Road King and got to ride Grave Creek one last time for 2022. Some wind blowing, leaves falling covering the road. Fall is maybe my favorite.
Has been a good year with it's ups & downs.
I made Regional and National. That in itself was an accomplishment.
After my ride, went and topped off my tank, added fuel stabilizer, and head for the cabin.
I will wash the bike today and put him up on the lift.
Boots went back to the closet up in the loft.
Am now waiting for Spring 2023.
The ride continues .....
Been a blast !

Still getting some wind therapy here, weather has been fair. Nothing much going on here. Thoughts and prayers for brother Draco. Boss sorry to hear you’re still fighting that bone spur, fortunately winter is just around the corner. giving you time to rid that problem.
That’s all for now.

Greetings Boss and all, I've been busy riding every day while I can and wearing my cuts every time. My son installed a jockey shift conversion kit on my trike last Saturday and I love it.I'll have to park it soon so I'm gonna keep riding as much as I can.

Greetings patched members supporters and prospects. Had a great ride from Phoenix to Laughlin this last weekend. Started out to Wickenburg for breakfast at our favorite restaurant the Horseshoe Cafe then on to Parker where the weather started to heat up next found us at the London Bridge in Lake Havasu where it started to get hot. From there we spent the night at the AVI Casino where we left some money but had a good time. Then that morning we headed out for Oatman to see the donkeys which were missing when we go there. Then it was on home. Notrob, myself and my wife, Linebacker and his wife and Ken were all in attendance. Already planning another weekend out

Welcome home brothers and sisters in arms. I am not a member of your noble club, but it is nice to see your Nam Vet MC colors from this former Rolling Thunder member. I emphatically support Nam Vets MC! These days in am only physically able to hang out in these rugged and beautiful California and Oregon mountains in my van. If any of you are out here in far Northern California and Southern Oregon who need a scout, I would be proud to be of service. I was a an 11 Delta cavalry scout in Nam.

Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, 3rd Squadron, 5th Cavalry Regiment, Armored and Air Cav. We were the Black Knights, AKA 'The Bastard Cav'.

When I was a cavalry scout with 3rd Squadron, 5th Cavalry Regiment, we were on, and sometimes inside the DMZ crossing the Ben Hai River when not doing reconnaissance in the A Shau Valley, Khe Sanh, The Rock Pile, Con Thien, Dong Ha, Quang Tri, Wunder Beach, Cam Lo, Firebases Alpha 4, Charlie 2 and beau coup night defensive positions at all points in between up there in the 'Northernmost'.

Some unit history: The 3rd Squadron, 5th Cavalry Regiment (since 1855) was Division Recon in Nam -- 1st Cav Div, 9th Infantry Div, 101st Airborne Division, 5th Infantry Division; that's why they called us 'The Bastard Cav'. We were farmed out to any division who needed a recon unit. I am no hero or bad-ass. I was just 18 and 19 in Nam -- skinny, quick and lucky.

Vietnam didn't kill me, but the Agent Orange sure is trying to.

Greetings Brothers, Supports & Prospects

I believe my major trips for the year are done. Due to unforeseen circumstances, i.e., two deaths in the family, we won't be going to Biketober Fest in Daytona this year.

I did finally ride down to NC to meet up with Izzy. I can't speak for him, but I had a wonderful time. Both he and his wife are great people, very gracious. Having him as a full Patched member will be a great addition to our Club.

On the way home I stopped by Appomattox Court House, turns out it's a town, not just a court house. Boy do they ever tell its story way different from what I learned in school. Sadly, these days there's no telling which version, if either, is correct.

I stayed probably a bit longer than was prudent for getting home in good time. The last 50 miles were pretty dark and more than a bit chilly. Overall, one of the best solo rides I've had in a long while. Weather was absolutely perfect both days with the added benefit of very little traffic to contend with.

That's about all for now, mainly just to let everyone know I'm still alive and kicking.

Greetings to all Patched members, Prospects, and Support. Been traveling for a few weeks in NJ and NY, unfortunately not on the bike. Ready to get back home and on the bike again. Had some excitement in our local area with some 1% clubs, 5 shot and in the hospital, not all details have been released yet. Still trying to figure our who is the dominant club. I’ll let you know if there are any updates.
Wishing everyone good health and safe riding.

Greetings Boss Skinner, Patched Members, Prospects and Support. DOC GONZO, Brother we are sad to hear about your families loss. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Things are going good in the Region with our riding season just getting underway. I'm excited to make longer rides with more of our members. As always if you are in the Region please contact one of us and lets ride.
My wife Andrea and I made at driving trip for a couple of weeks and covered 7,591 miles, 127:19 hours of driving, averaging 39.7 MPG. Phoenix to Key West up the East Coast to Main and back across. Our next long trip is across Canada if anyone has tips about that run please let me know. Today the SWR Brothers and Sisters may a run to Wickenburg for breakfast perfect weather and amazing ride.

It's great to see so many hits on our website and more over the request for information about membership. Great job to our leadership and all those Original BROTHERS with the foresight to set up the website.

Greetings Boss Skinner, Patched Members, Prospects and Support. It’s been awhile so I thought I better check in. I did a wounded warrior run a couple weeks ago, still having tailbone issues made 2 of the 3 stops then headed back to starting point for a cold one and listen to the band. They were quite good. The following weekend was the run for RTO, I made a showing for our club but couldn’t do the run, that run I would like to have done.
Wife retired about 4 weeks ago, she’s bored lmao.
Weather here is cool at nite but has been nice during the day. Haven’t ridden as much as I’d like, so going to go tomorrow.
That’s it for now, ride safe

Hello Brothers, Supports & Prospects

Just checking in. All is well here. Headed home.

Looks like I'll have at least two more runs this year. One to NC to meet a Prospect, the other to Biketober Fest in Daytona with my Brother Kenny. That one may not happen as he's still a working man and burned up all his personal, vacation and bereavement days.

His son had a great memorial service, friends came from as far away as Baltimore to send him off.
