Happy Sunday Brothers and Sisters!

First, let me wish Skinner strength and healing through faith (and good doctors). You are in our thoughts and prayers daily!

Summer's drawing to a close and my garden, this year, was a bust... ugh! Will be doing a bunch this fall to improve the soil and plan to get the seeds started WAY earlier. Thinking I may have to ask Doc to help me build a greenhouse of sorts! Honey-do!

Doc's my hero every day, but especially the other day when he donned all kinds of clothes and a lace faceguard to go our and slay YELLOW JACKET dragons! Little bastards had set up housekeeping on our back porch and stung him a bunch of times. So I'm sure he felt great relief at getting his just revenge!

I got promoted to Chief of my section a month or so ago.. still waiting for the official stuff (and pay) to catch up.. LOL

This past week I was presented with my certificate of 20 years service with the VA. I know many have issues with the VA, but they've been good to me both as a vet and an employee, and I'm proud to have served and will continue to serve for another year or so. Then, RETIREMENT which means more opportunities to RIDE!

Looking for a trike in decent condition for low $$. Keeping my peepers open.

That's it for now!

Hello fellow Nam veterans, my name is Charles, i live in NW Florida, county line of Santa Rosa & Okalossa, just off hwy 98.
i am an honorably retired USAF member, 26 June 1972 - 31 Jan 1993. i did not serve "in country" but was trained to go. at that time the war was de-escalating, so they did not send me.
I ride an Indian and yesterday i traded in my Scout for a new Chief Dark Horse. Looking forward to learning more about the Club and hopefully meeting you someday.

Greetings Brothers, Supports, Prospects and well-wishers!!

All quiet in my AO, except a brief tangle up with a nest of ground hornets (evil little bastards) but I got the nest removed tonight. I may have looked like a Sta-Puff marshmallow ninja but I wasn't about to get stung ... again.

Other than that pretty quiet. Been toying with Singer's bike. Fuel system, battery all check out okay. Put on new fuel and air filters but that's not the problem. No spark to the plugs. So I'm thinking either voltage regulator or stator needs replacing. The good news is I saw a CB950 older than hers running well so I know once I get it going it'll be fine for her. And if she doesn't like it, guess I got another town bike.

Brothers I don't know what that hell to do with the VA. I've been to them directly, tried to go through American Legion, VFW and DAV VSOs, the State and County Veteran's Commission, hell I even wrote my Governor, Representative and a Senator. Nothing from any of them. You'd think serving 22+ years, a person could get some consideration. Guess I was wrong. As the saying goes, f' 'em, don't mean nothin'

So looking forward to next two runs. Got me some new tyres on Black Betty; so far I'm really digging them. Dunlop American Elites. Handle really well, don't track on cracks, grooves or snot snakes. Haven't had them out too much, did get about 120 miles the other day, looking to put some serious miles on 'em.

I guess that's about all from me. Hoping all are doing well and if not well, on the mend. best to all, peace out

Hey,
Brothers and Support. All is well in the Northwest corner. Weather has been great for riding. Love these dry days. Have a water leak-1700ft. of line through the woods. If the riding slows down I may even look for it before the rain is back. Best wishes to all.

Good HOT Saturday morning from Beckley, WBGV (West By God Virginia). 🙂

So VERY glad to have Doc back home safe and sound! Too hot to work in the garden today but tomorrow will be getting the rest of the stuff that's been growing on the porch into the ground FINALLY! Already have tomatoes growing on all the plants (both indoor and outdoor).

Welcome home to Clutch and Wrongway! (Nice to have a fellow New Englander on board! )

Yesterday marked 20 years of combined service for me (Army and Dept of Veterans Affairs...WOOHOO!) Kinda proud of that!

That's it for now... may you all ride with the wind at your backs! LLRBF

Brothers, Supports, Prospects & Well-wishers GREETINGS from the HOME AOR

WHEW, another epic National and road trip in the books!

Special shout out to our Brothers LAAM, Prez Skinner, Prez Grumpy and of course Donna; Ellen, Aubrey, Kandace (Boss please correct my spelling); and Geraldine for their Brotherhood and Hospitality. MUCH APPRECIATED. Of course my door is always open for a Brother.

Will post trip stats on fascistbook probably tomorrow, for now looks like about 5k miles in the books; bike ran well the entire trip without any surprises like lose wires, or missing parts. Oh I did have the rubber fall off my left floorboard somewhere in either Kansas or Oklahoma on the way out. Got a replacement in Victorville CA and installed it when I got to my Son's in Rancho Cucamonga. That's not really where he lives, close by of it though. I just like typing Cucamonga. LOL

Stayed a few days with him and the Grands. Can't believe how much they've grown in just a year.l

Oh Alice redid my EGA/Caduceus tattoo. Man it is BEAUTIFUL now. I liked it before, I LOVE it now. She did a wonderful job of touching it up. When you're in Piedmont MO, drop in and have her do your ink work, you won't be disappointed!!

Well that's about all for now, Singer has dinner coming and I should get off here and spend some time with her.

PS, Look for photos on fascistbook this weekend also.

Patchholders, Support and well wishers.
The club is growing and it never ceases to amaze me. There are still brothers in arms that want what we can offer. The Nomad lifestyle.
May be headed to the Northeast shortly. Hopefully will have some Brothers going with.
Will be going to the flat races in Springfield, Il. on Sept. 1st. Right by the track, first row seat one.
May also be heading soon to Raymond, Mississippi.
Have a Brother who is still not well.
Love and respect to all.

buda from high springs floridagood morning brothers, long time for me to come passing bye here. i'm back in some sort of mental routine after returning fro thailand more than 6 weeks ago. you see the va has me pumped up for sleeping with to much s***T and when my sleep pattern is interrupted by a 13 hour life routine, my world gets a little more unstable, haha. Nisa came back a couple of weeks ago, her dad had a tumor removed from his lung, she had stayed behind in may to take care of him until surgery happened, it was a success. the house is looking like a house again after my bro and go to help man "chuck" finally got over here to help get it in shape. there was only 7 months of overgrowth to be cut, trimmed, pulled, whatever to make it look like a house lived in again. i had another injection in my back when i got back in may, that felt good for 2 days, so back is not good and many things to do, fi,whatever, the buda has been doing but slowly. the scoot has been up on the jack for a month, i dumped ALL of the oil using that Scavenger and i don't see any more of what i thought to be pieces of brass in it. so, i'm going to try a hiflfiltro oil filter and get it back on the road after changing oil. most of my time lately has been working on the rv generator (my hurricane sanctuary) , i dropped it out of the van and have it on the bench in my garage. it looks like the fuel pump is shot, t wrote on 07/13/2019 at 12:17 pm
he carb was clean inside so i'm waiting on the fuel pump to get here and if that does it, i'm gonna replace all 20ft of fuel line when i stuff it back up into the back end of the van. i mange with a back brace, cane, stool and lotta time, f***k i used to be the monkey, ha.
I got diagnosed with some emphysema, last month but other than that doing ok physically. prayers for my brother, an old high school friend of mine, contacted me by f/b, yesterday, we talked by phone, she lives near my brother up in Jersey, she went to bring him some food yesterday morning, he didn't answer the door, she looked in saw him on the couch, he told her that he was ok but he didn't get up. long story short, she went back couple of times yesterday , same story, i made some calls to sister and another brother , apparently the police where notified on wed about him not being available, they came, i am not sure what happen but they left him
so, i guess he had been not mobile or available, i called my friend back last night and asked her to call 911, she did that, they came, the place smelled bad, emt's went through the door, he was in bad shape, had no idea who he was ,what year it was , blah blah, apartment like an oven ( no air on for days) they took him to the hospital (still breathing) anyway, i don't write much or be in contact as i would want brothers, but it seems to me no matter what direction i turn i am ducking bullets.
Well, that's some of it, i am still getting to the vet support meetings every week and keeping it together. love and respect brothers. Laam i need to get a copy of dd214 to you right?
