As we near the 1st anniversary of the founding of our Brotherhood, I would like to thank everyone for the hard work and great courage it took to make the leap. Some who I still call Brothers could not see their way to go with us.
It is a sad thing, we are making it work.
I live in an area dominated by a 1% club
And have no problems wearing my colors everywhere. Have been asked why we are not affiliated with a dominate club, the answer is easy. I tell them that a Nomads we ride in many states and an affiliate, or known associate, patch would put our Nomad status in jeopardy. I maintain friendly ties and exchange cards and Respect to all.
Once again, my hat off to all who have decided to take the journey with us.
My love and Respect.
Grumpy.

Brothers, Prospects and Support,
Hope all are well. All good in my A.O.
Can't wait to land at LZ Days End for Brotherhood at it's finest! I know it will be 1 for the books. I am bringing my GoPro so I can record and hopefully make somewhat of a video to reflect on later. Glad to hear Brothers had a good run in the West . Just looked at the calendar and man o man it is getting closer than I thought ! Sickle had a health check and all is well. Rode to Myrtle Beach Spring Rally, what a good turnout ! Got a lot of comments on our Colors all good! Keep on keepin on Brothers it won't be long now!
All for now, Bear out!

Just returned from a great Northwest Spring Regional, was good to see Brothers again. Seattle & Scout attended (I thought they were just a legend), along with Support Stephanie & Trina. NWRP Herky put a lot of work in getting this together, and hit it out of the park. What Herky accomplished was a Regional with a 100% attendance, along with our Support. I don't know if that will ever "repeat", but I sure hope so. The weather (at least for me) was spectacular, Brothers on the Washington coast had to deal with a little wet, but it didn't stop'em.
The Motel was small, clean, comfortable and friendly. It was just far enough away from the Tourist Traps, yet close enough where we could ride to visit. Had gas & cafe within walking distance, and we woke in the mornings to the crow of a rooster. The people in the area treated us well, all in all, was a good ride and would do the 900 miles again. Lookin' forward to the National next month, this year is shaping up to be a very good year. The Nam Vets MC Patch is alive and well in the Northwest !

Greeting Brothers, Supports, Prospects & Friends!!

I've been quite for a bit, not much news out of my AO. Finally got my scoot back from the shop yesterday. Once again everything is working the way it's supposed to, fresh fluids brakes are good and the tires are fair. The air's not showing through anyway.

So my summer plans have changed some. Closing on a new house the end of the month. So I'll get moved before National and execute my plans to see Son and Grands after National. Hoping to get at least 5k on this summer, 10,000 would be a lot better. Trying to make up for the pitiful showing of the last couple of years riding. Or not riding as the case may be.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at National. Hopefully health and weather will hold and we'll have a great time.

Patch Holder Grumpy, I looked up Blessing of the bikes at Bald Knob Cross. Sounds like a great event for bikers. Be safe and have fun. Prospect Steamer

The wife and I are headed to the Blessing Of The Bikes at Bald Knob Cross this Sunday. Usually four to five thousand bikes attend. A time to socialized with other bikers and clubs.
Probably eat dinner at the Blue Boar restaurant. Where many of to edgier bikers go for drinks and casual dining.
The good thing about this is 'neutral ground' where people can relax. Colors
are permitted.

Morning Brothers,
It's good to see the GB active, Brothers seem busy facin' the trials of livin'. The one thing that gets me through is watch'n that "countdown clock" tic off the seconds. I put my winter boots away and got my "sickle" boots out, still have a couple weeks to go, but my turns comin'. Sounds like the new Prospect is ready to become part of this Brotherhood. Steamer will make a fine addition, we always got room for a stand up Brother.
Think'n about our Club, TM is final, Web Page (in less then a year) has over 8,000 views, we are growing with new members, our States are expanding, causes & charities are being supported by the Nam Vets MC, Brothers have gotten our Patch out into the MC world, and all this in a years time. The past is get'n dim, but the future is bright. Every Patch Holder should be Proud of this Patch we wear, and this Brotherhood we share ! We have the right man at the head of this Club, our Membership could not be stronger, for Vietnam Veterans who are look'n, look not farther !
Today, I will remove the studded tires off the car, remove the wheels off the Road King and get them ready for it's new shoes. I think the sun will shine today,
With much Love & Respect for you all.........

Health is hanging on and did one thing I have been trying to do for 30 yrs, you guessed it, quit smoking!! Hoping I can hang in there! A big shout out for all the things all of you have accomplished to make our MC what it is today. I am very proud of all of my Brothers! A happy time is getting closer and I can't wait to see you all again. Love, Loyalty and Respect!

Finally good riding weather in Southern Illinois. Have one bike up and running the Kaw. The trike is waiting on parts.
The Yamaha is going back together nicely. Won't be factory perfect but will look great.
For the Brothers in the Northwest, wish you were here to share in our belated spring.

Greetings Brothers, Prospects, Supporters, and on-lookers.
Well, we made it through another season, brighter days are on the menu, and the countdown to NR is clicking!
Been busy getting the front wheel aimed in the right direction, both for the regional and national. Not much left to do other than a new rear tire and oil change to get 'er done.
Currently looking at walking the TSA gauntlet for a flight to visit my first grandson for a week, and back again to resume the prep for the Spring/Summer riding to come.
I hope all are well, have peace where you dwell, and ready to let out a renegade yell!
