Greetings Boss Skinner, Patched Members, Prospects and Support. I hope this entry finds everyone well and safe.

Todays SITREP for the SW Region is "GOOD". We are working on a new members paperwork he's a Vietnam Veteran (NAVY) 64-67. The weather has been wet and cool over the last couple of days leading to cage time. BOOGIE was strong enough to ride to our group breakfast this morning "he is the man".
Sick Call: we have one member "SYCO" on the mend and one "DRAGONFLY" down sick. This Friday is our Region Holiday dinner with our brothers, friends, and family.
And that's all folks

Greetings Boss Skinner, Patched Brothers, Prospects, Support and Well-Wishers.

All is well in my AO, sadly it looks like riding season is over.

It's been awhile since I checked in, so I thought, I'd do just that.

I've reopened my four VA claims and added two more.

So far, four have been approved, for which they only want to pay for two.
The other two our pending.

I'll keep trying. It's like pulling teeth from a Baby.

This Government is the best in the world but they sure don't treat their Veterans Right.

I'll keep you updated on the outcome

Till then for those that can still Ride. Keep it upright and between the ditches.
The Rest, attach the battery tender and throw over the dust cover.
SPRING IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER

THUMPER, OVER BUT NEVER OUT.

Greetings Boss, Patched members, Prospects and Support,
Been doing a little traveling lately, Carthage, Mo, Eureka Springs, AR, Branson, MO and Omaha, NE, in 8 days. Wedding, a few vaca days and a hockey tournament for a great nephew. Weather is finally acting like fall, dropped over 30 degrees in one day, sounded typical for most of us. Good to hear that even with some challenges, we are on the mend. Thanksgiving is almost here and it looks like all of my family will be together, and I am thankful for that. Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and good health.

Greetings Boss Skinner, Patched Members, Prospects and Support. I hope this entry finds everyone well and safe. With winter coming and the holidays just around the corner, Our members are finding ways to serve our fellow warriors and their families. The SWR team has provided support to the American Legion and Packages from home going to deployed service members and their families. We continue to meet on Mondays and Wednesdays to support one another and strengthen the Brotherhood. We are always inviting new veterans and we welcome their family members when they are able to join us for a meal. We will be having our SWR members, family and friends holiday dinner on the 9th of December at one of the best Chinees buffets in the area. If anyone is planning on being in the area on the 9th, you are very welcome to join in on the fun. I just leaned back in my chair and realized there may be members or friends of members that need a place to be with other veterans. If anyone knows a friend in need, just let me know. Their meal and a good time will be provided. The SWR members have a big table and bigger hearts.

I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year

Greetings Boss, Patched Brothers, Prospects and Support
Welcome home Izzy. I hope you are doing better Linebacker, you had what you needed near by, your BROTHERS.
We’re having our first snow here in the burg huge flakes, starting to cover the grass and asphalt areas. We went from 70 to 30 in a blink of an eye. The older I get the more I dislike the cold. Covered the trike today mostly to keep dust off, I don’t see a break in the weather anytime soon. But I’ll think positive, it’s easy to take the cover back off should the weather go in my favor.
Nothing else going on here just getting ready to hibernate.
For those who are still having good weather and riding be safe. Everyone take care of yourselves. That’s all today.

Good morning Boss, all national and regional officers and my Brothers. I know it’s been a good while since I checked in and want you all to know I really miss my Brothers. I am still on the mend from the cancer surgery. The doc’s are encouraged with my progress and my most recent tests showed no new cancer. I hope everyone had a peaceful Veterans Day. Thanks for all your prayers!

Greetings Boss, Fellow Patched, Prospects, Support etc. Hope all are having a great and safe Veterans Day weekend. Today was a great day here in the SWR. We all had a nice ride to the AZ National Cemetary to Honor all the Fallen. Nice Breakfast, then we hit the highway for the trip. We left in 40 degree cold, But turned out super nice at almost 70 warm on return. All in all a beautiful day. Lots of laughs and also reflection. Many people waved, Thanked us, Even some stopped there cars to say thank you. Don't get much better than that. All for now, Prayers and positive thoughts to all on mend. Be safe all. LLRBF NVFFNV

Greetings Boss Skinner, Patched Members, Prospects and Support.
Greetings and salutations, from the SWR. I'm here to attest that every medical condition you can have comes to you within the first 6 months of retirement. Last month on a Monday, I was sitting with SWR President NOTROB when out of the blue a feeling like I never had came over me. Within seconds I told NOTROB I needed help. He flew into action and called for an ambulance and starting trying to help me to cope with situation. Paramedics arrived within minutes started doing their thing, the other Brothers came into the restaurant one after the other. I could feel the power of our group over me. As a soldier that has experienced being MEDIVAC's more then once or twice, I know the excitement and pain of the moment. The Medics transported me to the hospital just minutes from the restaurant. During the ride my pulse was over 220, so they administered a shot to stop and restart my heart. Within seconds they said I was experiencing a heart attack. By the time we arrived at the hospital the ambulance crew realized I was a member of NAM VETS NOMAD MC (by my cut) and a retired Federal Agent (by my RET ID). Once we arrived at the hospital and they did the hand off to medical the entire crew stood outside my door checking on me every time a Dr or Nurse came out of my room. Once my wife and NOTROB arrived the Paramedics came in to thank me for my service both Military and Law Enforcement before leaving to return to service. Be clear the only reason I'm here to fight another day is because of my NAM VETS NOMAD MC Brothers and Sisters past and present, and Leadership that made all this possible. National Vice President, Brother Steamer, started the Monday breakfast and Brother NOTROB keeps it going. If I wasn't with them I have no idea where I would or wouldn't be today. I thank you with all my heart and my family thanks you all.

Greetings Brothers, Supports and Prospects.

First off, everyone please say hello and Welcome Home to our newest Brother Jim "Izzy" Isbell. Jim is originally from Oklahoma, currently residing in beautiful NC. I believe he will make an outstanding Brother and Club Member.

Singer came down in her cage with me. Which was good because Izzy's wife came up with him. Great lady.

Had a good ride down from my local AO, a bit chilly but Autumn colours in VA were outstanding!!

Only incident was some cager missed the "single lane ahead" sign and tried to climb into my left saddlebag. Fortunately, he failed in his endeavour, but he may need a brake job when he gets to his destination.

As Dutch says, for many of us our riding season is drawing to a close, for other, especially our Southern & SW Brothers, their season is just getting started. In either case, be safe Brothers.

October 29
Hit the road. Was cold with 20% chance of rain.
All the oils are changed on the Road King and got to ride Grave Creek one last time for 2022. Some wind blowing, leaves falling covering the road. Fall is maybe my favorite.
Has been a good year with it's ups & downs.
I made Regional and National. That in itself was an accomplishment.
After my ride, went and topped off my tank, added fuel stabilizer, and head for the cabin.
I will wash the bike today and put him up on the lift.
Boots went back to the closet up in the loft.
Am now waiting for Spring 2023.
The ride continues .....
Been a blast !
