Greetings All

Another Sturgis in the history books. Not getting on the road as soon as I'd liked, but then had a beer interruption. Camp sites almost packed. Not much left to do.

All is well

Should be home in about a week or so.

Great morning Boss Skinner, regional Presidents, Brothers & Support.

It's been a while since I last posted a message and this is mostly do to me being busy running my late buddy's bar, I had an idea of how much time is involved but never knew what's all being done behind the scenes, and it all makes sense now.

D-9 and I are going for a ride today with an old friend out to Richieville, Pa for some lunch and some relaxing riding through a very beautiful countryside.
Weather over here has been kinda of crazy, hot, hot, hot, then 5 minutes of rain and back to hot, the grass isn't growing that much now and I'm okay with that.

I gotta say two of the most honorable and memorial days riding for me ever was the two days at the nationals when our brotherhood, our M.C. took that ride across the Missouri boarder into Arkansas and then that ride to the Missouri Viet Nam Memorial wall, it was such an honor. D-9 and I and hopefully Rascal are go to a bike run in one of our other counties here for Viet Nam Veterans and to try to recruit some new members into out brotherhood, cross your fingers.

Well time to sign off for now, hope this message finds all our brothers, sisters & support member all in great health. ride safe, ride often, and most of all live life to it's fullest, luv you all..

Good evening Brothers, Prospects, Supports & Well-Wishers and greetings from beautiful Sturgis, South Dakota

We arrived safe and sound with only one minor incident, and that didn't result in anything being broken or even damaged.

Again, we got really good campsites at the Buffalo Chip. You would not believe how many people are here this year. Everyone that came last year, plus everyone who was afraid to come last, plus the usual first timers. They added a new several acre section and sold out 800 tent sights in one day. We got here same day last year and the Chip never did fill up to capacity.

We're having a great time, we made it into the annual opening day photograph, so that should be fun to see.

Weather is good, here. Good and HOT. But I'd rather have that than freezing out butts off.

Guess that's about all for now.

Greetings, Boss Skinner, Regional Presidents, Patched Members, Prospects, and Supports.

All is not well in my AO. My heart health has deteriorated so bad that there is no coming back from it. I am short of breath and I tired all the time. I can no longer even cut my own grass. I can no longer ride my trike so I have sold it. I'm not even sure how long they're going to let me keep my driver's license.

That being said I will now remove myself from the club roster. I will soon be sending a package to boss Skinner. In it will be all the club patches and a gift to be distributed amongst the brothers. I want y'all to know that the national meet was the thrill of my lifetime, the memories of which I will take to my grave. May God bless and keep you all.

So with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes I bid you all farewell. With love loyalty and respect and brotherhood forever. This is THUMPER Over and for the first time,
count me OUT.
PS. This will be my last communication with his venue.

Beautiful day here in the burg. Wish I was riding but it’s coming again soon. Good news. Just heard from my daughter, my son in law is coming home today. Still a tough road ahead but he’ll be home.
Met up with RTO and D9 last Sunday had a great time met a few of their friends. Great people. Needed that time off from watching my grandchildren, love them to death but really needed that break.
I loved the Nationals , what an awesome time. Fantastic people I am so proud and honored to be a part of this club.
Looking forward to meeting more Brothers.
That’s it for now take care, God bless, be safe.

Good Morning Brothers!! Supports & Prospect!!

Not much new here in my AO. Monday rode up to Morgantown got a fluid change for the Injun. All ready for Sturgis now. Sadly this year I won't be able to get a "I Rode Mine" patch. I'll have to settle for a "I Rode Mine ... Off the Trailer". First year I've not ridden to Sturgis regardless of where I lived.

I've been looking for a new helmet to replace my outdated HJC. Was looking at a new HJC, but no one has one in stock in my size.

Stopped at an Indian dealer on the way home for visiting Lori and they had a G-Max OF77 helmet with all the bells and whistles of the HJC, PLUS, built-in wireless brake light in the back of the helmet, sun shield, full-face shield AND air vents; all for less than the cost of an HJC with fewer features.

Anyway, enough of a gratuitous plug for the G-Max helmet. LOL

Wrote Brother Spokes, told him I now know why he switched back to H-D. Seems like a lot of Indian dealers are also Polaris dealers and are way more interested in selling side-by-sides than motorcycles.

Hoping all are well or well on the mend; best to Kanddis for a full and speedy recovery.

Greetings Boss, fellow Patched, Prospects, Support, etc. All is good our AO, House is getting there, furniture is all in. fridge and stove coming today. bills are pain in the neck, waiting on final ones from old address and figuring the new address ones. Wouldn't be so bad same utilities, but different acct #'s. , And then put the weather as icing on the cake, No wind time between house and this is our rain time of year. But no biggie, comes with the territory. All will be normal soon. Well thats my rant for this week lol. Hope all are doing well and positive thoughts to all on mend. ml&r NVFFNV

Howdy, Boss Skinner, Regional Presidents, Patched Members and Support,

Weather is great in my AO, but unfortunately won’t be too much riding today. Will attacking the breaks on the wife’s car. After that my custom needs a chain adjustment, so with my work speed, looks like the day is full!
I see that congratulations are in order for the new NE Officers, President RTO and Sgt. at Arms Rascal. I know they will do an excellent job at their new positions and working toward our mission. Thanks guys for stepping up!
As you know I’m competing in the Orange County
Dream Chopper contest, and with all of your help I have moved up to first place. This phase of the contest ends on the 22nd of July and it starts all over again. It’s a grueling contest, but with your help we can do this. I truly appreciate all the support!
Time for me to get the hands dirty, will keep you updated.

Great Morning Boss Skinner, Brothers & Support,

Thank all who voted for me and elected me as your North Eastern President. I promise to do the duties of this prestigious position as required of me, I hope to have the support of the brothers in my region as well as that of all the brother in our M.C. I've also appointed Racal to fill the position that I held as Sergeant at Arms, I fill he will do an excellent job and will make Boss Skinner and all brother proud of him.

haven't done much riding lately due to the heavy amounts of rain we've been having on the east coast, about the only thing benefiting from it is the damn grass. The temps have been close to 90's and the humidity is like being wrapped in a piece of saran wrap, one good thing, I've dropped 14 lbs since the nationals

D-9 and I are gonna head out with some friends tonight for some karaoke fun, it's been well over year since we last had fun of this sort.

well brothers until my next post, keep god in your heart and always ride safe..

Top of the morning to Boss Skinner, Regional Presidents, Patched Brothers, Prospects and our Support. Here I go again. It's 0500 I am up and ready to hit the road again. Yesterday I made it to Aberdeen WA. Not much of a ride, but I am able to visit with family. I started off with breakfast with Draco, the only Prospect we have left in the PNW that I know of. The last time I saw Draco was at the start of my journey. We both made our out of state ride together. When we finished our ride, Regional President, Radio, Draco, and myself had dinner. I guess it's only fitting that the end of my journey would be with Draco. My journey will end today when I drive down my driveway. This doesn't end the rest of the story, but I will end for today. Be safe, ride to enjoy life, and live! KILO

Well good evening Boss Skinner,Regional Presidents, Patched Brothers,Prospects, and our great Support members. It is three months since I left home to see America, and to join the Nam Vets Nomads MC in Piedmont MO. My old body is getting real tired. It seems that my front tire has just about led me home. I have had one he'll of a trip. My old and somewhat new (new parts ) green baby and I have been to 19 different states plus 5 states more than once. I have been able to visit family from my side, from my wife's side, my son in laws side, and to be able to spend time with some of my Brothers, not only at the Nationals but at their homes also. This trip has given me memories that will be with me for a lifetime. At my age that my not be very long, but oh well. One would think that our numbers are not that large, so what would one think the chances would be that you would come across a brother on a interstate hwy., going the speed of a old grandma, and holding up traffic. Well I did, and when I pulled up along side of him, I almost scared him to death. It's getting late, and I have been up since 0400. This story is not over yet, the rest of the story will come later. Ride. Safe kilo

While I was at the national meet I felt like I was with family. I felt safe and secure in the knowledge that my brothers were there to take care of me.
So I feel that it's time for me to step up and take care of my brothers.

Greetings to all Officers, Patched members and Support.
It’s been 13 days since I left Piedmont, MO. and the NAM VETS M/C National Meeting. It was a big week for me, meeting all the members, riding out of state with the Patched members and receiving my Patch from the best military M/C ever. Now that I am a Patched member and can call y’all my Brothers things couldn’t be better. I am so looking forward to next years National and the brotherhood that I have missed so much. Thank you all so much for graciously accepting me into the Club. I will work hard to keep up the high Club standards. 👍

Top of the morning Boss Skinner, Brothers, & support

D9, Rascal & I would have made it home on the 25th but due to a failed thermostat connected to the water pump (bad design by Harley) we were lucky to make it to Gold Star Harley Davidson in Fetus Missouri and missed a torrential downpour coming through the area. I had to have a new water pump put on Lame/Andy, note to those with fans in your lowers, you will eventually have this same issue, the thermostat can't be replaced without replacing the water pump because it is connected to the water pump and it has a three hose system where as the replacement has no thermostat and a two hose system, I've got to thank Boss Skinner for throwing me a lead to ask for Nick the parts guy and coupled with my retired military I.D. got me $130.00 knocked off the bill which came to $630.00, thanks boss, I've also got to say what a awesome Harley dealership and a great mechanic, the guy did the job in an hour and a half as opposed to the typical 3 hours it normally takes, so that and construction cost us a night in Columbus Ohio but we missed all of the rain, so we pulled into our A.O. on Saturday morning at about 11:30am.

Now on a sad note, we finally buried my best buddy Wayne Krivijanski yesterday July 1, I will never forget him and will always love him as my brother, farewell my friend until we meet again.

Tomorrow is my birthday and I will be 72, damn 72, that sounds old and some days I feel every bit of 72, then others I feel 52, I pray god grants me great health and a long life full of happiness, he's been spot on up to now.

last but not least, D9 and I had a wonderful time and enjoyed every moment and every memory made at the nationals this year, we're already looking forward to the next one..

love you all, stay healthy, and ride to live..
