Greetings Boss, Patched, support, prospects ,etc. Sorry to hear about your chow boss, R.I.P. Now five kittens lol, Life's circle does sometimes through you a curve. But its all good, I bet there a blast. All is good here, Can't wait till tomorrow, New windshield coming. ( has the curve at top so no more head bobbing at 80 mph. ) Positive thoughts to all on mend. Hope all start getting the weather we are having so all can get some wind. All for now. Stay safe all. LLRBF
This is a fine evening. I would like to say hello to our president, vice president (?), all patched brothers, prospects, and support. Well this will bring everyone up to speed from where Radio left off. We parted ways wednesday morning. Radio went north and I went east, then south. I couldn't ask for better riding weather. Wednesday was mostly clear & 54. Spent first night in Bend Or. Thursday about the same, untill the sun started to go down. Glad I had heated jacket & gloves. About 1400 I was riding about snow level. When I got to Reno around 2100 I was ready for a room. My old butt hasn't had this seat time in a long time. Remember Radio said I was looking for warm, dry, & sunny weather? Well I found it, Sunday about noon. When I left Reno I had all my gear on. I headed west on I-80. By the time I reached cal. hwy 49 jest east of sacramento, the temp had gone from 52 to 84. I was looking for a place to stop and shed about 3 layers of clothes. I got on cal. Hwy 49 south. This road is a bikers dream, but not for a trike. It had so many curves, it would have broke a snakes back. For all that still ride a two wheel, a trike you don't lean, you herd a trike around the curves.
Being one of the best biker I know, I lost my road three times, and ended up about 200 miles from where I wanted to be. No problem, I can get there from a different direction. This morning at 1000 it was sunny & 82, at 1400 it was 94. I found the SUN!! Thats it for today, ride safe & find your sun.

It has been a very busy month. Fighting for my increase in my disability. I finally hit 100 %. As it gets closer to SR I will know if I can ride or not. Many thanks to Brother Dutch on all he has done for this club. It will be hard to find someone to replace him. Outside of this miserable the last three weeks, everything in Wyoming just keeps rolling along. S

Appears Saturday is the day, 1st ride of 2021.
Will be good to feel the wind, clear my thoughts a little, after another Rocky Mountain winter.
Will meet up with Brother BD, see a friendly face, ride the river for a few hours, maybe even laugh a little.
All is well ! LLRBF

I AM A VETERAN
by Andrea Christensen Brett
You may not know me the first time we meet
I’m just another you see on the street
But I am the reason you walk and breathe free
I am the reason for your liberty
I AM A VETERAN
I work in the local factory all day
I own the restaurant just down the way
I sell you insurance, I start your IV
I’ve got the best-looking grandkids you’ll ever see
I’m your grocer, your banker
Your child’s schoolteacher
I’m your plumber, your barber
Your family’s preacher
But there’s part of me you don’t know very well
Just listen a moment, I’ve a story to tell
I AM A VETERAN
I joined the service while still in my teens
I traded my prom dress for camouflage greens
I’m the first in my family to do something like this
I followed my father, like he followed his
Defying my fears and hiding my doubt
I married my sweetheart before I shipped out
I missed Christmas, then Easter
The birth of my son
But I knew I was doing what had to be done
I served on the battlefront, I served on the base
I bound up the wounded
And begged for God’s grace
I gave orders to fire, I followed commands
I marched into conflict in far distant lands
In the jungle, the desert, on mountains and shores
In bunkers, in tents, on dank earthen floors
While I fought on the ground, in the air, on the sea
My family and friends were home praying for me
For the land of the free and the home of the brave
I faced my demons in foxholes and caves
Then one dreaded day, without drummer or fife
I lost an arm, my buddy lost his life
I came home and moved on
But forever was changed
The perils of war in my memory remained
I don’t really say much, I don’t feel like I can
But I left home a child, and came home a man
There are thousands like me
Thousands more who are gone
But their legacy lives as time marches on
White crosses in rows
And names carved in queue
Remind us of what these brave souls had to do
I’m part of a fellowship, a strong mighty band
Of each man and each woman
Who has served this great land
And when Old Glory waves
I stand proud, I stand tall
I helped keep her flying over you, over all

One of the guys said he gave his info to Brother Steamer, So maybe another prospect, Way to go Brother Steamer. Had a great talk with Brother Mickie, if all things stay on track, mid-west will be new AO for wife and I. Positive thoughts to all on mend. Hope the weather breaks for all to get some wind. LLRBF
A great hello to every one
It is spring time in the southland .Texas Girl and I went to the rattle snake festival in Ok, Saturday . We had a good time people watching . Stayed away from the snakes. Stopped for a good catfish dinner at the Red River . I am planning a couple of shake down trips to get ready for NR2021. The trike has started a bad habit of sputtering at cruising speeds . I am hoping it is bad gas. That's about all now .

Just returned from an RV trip to Tennessee. Two weeks with my kids. Had a fantastic time. I got within a hundred and fifty-five miles from home before the fuel injectors began spewing fuel all over the top of the engine. AAA towed me 100 miles, the rest was on me. $250.00 for 55 miles.
Looks like the next week or so I'll be making like mr. Goodwrench. Funny how a one dollar O ring can put a damper on a good Trip
It is good to be back in my AO though.
Baby girl is getting anxious for upcoming Nationals.
I hope everyone is doing well and we have a good turnout this summer.
Till then
this is THUMPER checking in and signing out.
Later Gator. LLRBF-NVMCFFNVMC

a great day to you Boss Skinner, patched members, prospects, & support
Well I finally got my new Paul Yaffe 13 inch high rise bars on Lame/Andy, it took a couple of day but he's done.
Gonna head out for a ride in a little bit, tired from the first grass cutting of the year, did half today and will do the other half tomorrow.
Got caught up in a local credit card scam that came from the medical organization that I use, some two hundred people were involved, just a waste of my time.
Heading out to Gettysburg on memorial day weekend with some friends in place of Rolling thunder weekend ride, should be a great time.
weather is fantastic here in Pittsburgh 70's, little to no rain, can't complain for this time of the year.
looking forward to hooking up with Doc Gonzo, Zoot and anyone else going in a few weeks to patch in prospect Rascal.
All is good here in my AO, D9 sends her love and is excited about going to the national in June..
so until then, peace be with you all and well see ya soon..

Good morning to Boss Skinner, all Regional Presidents, the Patched Members, all current Prospects, and Support. Here its Easter morning again. There was a Easter long ago that wasn’t a time of hope, joy good food, laughing children, candy, or family. You had your weapon, your brothers around you, and God. In his wisdom he let some of us come home, others he called home, to rest in his arms. This is a time that he had to call his son home. I am thankful that God passed me over as he called his children home. Someday it will be my turn, I hope, to join my family, and brother’s that are waiting for me.
Until then I have a world to see, my Nam. Brothers to meet, friends to make, and roads to ride. Things have been going good here. The sun has been coming out and getting a little warmer.
Unfortunately, it looks like it will be raining at the time I want to leave. Go figure, the PNW and rain. I may jest have to bite the bullet, put my rain gear on and go. It sure won’t be the first time. I will be back to make the spring run with Regional President Radio, the patched brothers, and any other prospects. I am looking forward to this run, and very much the National. Its time to see if I can get another hours sleep. I hope all stay safe, warm, dry, and healthy

Greetings Boss, All my Brothers, Prospects and Supports. I everyone is well or at least on the mend. It was 66 here today so I threw my leg over the scoot and blasted down Mt 200 to show our colors! It was a fine ride even with a mean crosswind. We should have a great meet up next month for our NW spring run. It’s been a while since I’ve seen everyone and I’m ready to ride with my Brothers! Happy Easter to all my Brothers! Stay safe! Nationals will be upon us before you know it!

Greetings all Patchholders, Support, Prospects and those interested in us.
Looking like Spring is here to stay, or is it just April fools day?
Forecast in the 70's for the week ahead.
Excited for the NW Spring run, Brother Radio has things all set with a road trip to all the local interests, great food, I hear our 1st meal provided by our Motel Hosts .
Hopefully all those of us NW tribe will be able to make it and kick off a GREAT riding Season .
My trusty Vaquero was raring to go for the year until the battery gave up after (can you believe) 7 years of service? There spendy Batts though, $179.
Wishing you all a Blessed Resurrection weekend, ride if you can and ponder the great gift the has been paid for our Redemption.
My bobber project should pickup now that weather had moderated.
Not a whole lot left, just tweek things, carb jets and paint mostly.
Prayers for you all riding this year and may your rides be trouble free.
Herky, NVMC NVFFNV
