Great Morning, Boss Skinner, Brothers, prospects, & support
First off Boss, the song " Drive on " you couldn't have pick a better song to represent our brotherhood, I personally love it.
I hope this short message finds boss Grumpy & Laam on the mend and wishing them a speedy recovery, just remember if the meds don't work, just spit on it, rub dirt in it and take a nap, lol
So good to see prospect Rascal finally got his access up and running, welcome aboard prospect and welcome all new prospects, you could not have chosen a better place to be in the later part of your life, the men I've met are all outstanding gentlemen, I'm so glad a friend referred me to this awesome brotherhood.
sending out a belated happy veterans day to all and a warm welcome home.
I bought LameAndy in April of this year and he had 3600 miles on him, he now has a whopping 11,500K, I rode him like I owned him, had to get tires and rear brakes on it yesterday, so I'm ready for next years riding, also looking forward to the National if the lords of the land grants that upon us all, hopefully Rascal and his misses will be joining D9 and myself for the trip out.
Just wanted to touch base and say hello and stay in touch, and to welcome out new prospects..
until then, all be safe, stay healthy, and god bless.

11/12/2020 I would like to say to all the brothers, prospects, and supporters. Welcome home, and that this time coming up of Gods birthday that your days are filled with health, and as much happyness as your hearts can hold. I have read some of the entrys in the guest book! I don't know if I am the oldst, and far from the wisest, but I do know that when the word brotherhood is used, and the true meaning, and heart is not there it rings false. A person looking for this brotherhood can feel it, like it means nothing to the person that says it. I have read the posts that have come across my computer for about 4 mo. now. I have read, listened with my mind what was said, how it was received, and how it was answered. I would put a comment in now and then to see how it was taken. After this time had passed I contacted one of the brothers, that I had knowen for almost 20 yrs. We sat down and talked several times before I asked if I could become a prospect with the Nam Vets Nomads MC. Every way I looked at this club "Brother Hood " rang true. I saw that when it was said, it came from the heart, and that is all you can ask from a brother.
I am sorry I was long winded, but its been a couple of rough days, and I wanted you to know how I felt. Hopfully still a prospect. kilo

Hello to Boss Skinner, Region Presidents, Patched members, prospects and support.
Many of you don’t know me. I’m from western Pennsylvania, I was U S Navy I was aboard the USS Warrington DD 843 we were top gun on the line in Vietnam Our guns fired day and night, but on maneuvers one day checking on a suspicious cargo ship as we closed in we ran over several mines. We were then towed to Subic Bay Philippines for dry dock the ship was in bad shape several very large holes so she was stricken from the rolls of the US Navy. What an awesome crew we had very close knit. We all went home for 30 days awaited new orders mine sent me back to Vietnam to meet a brand new destroyer escort USS Paul DE 1080 stayed in Nam til April 1973 total time was 11 months there.
I was an Architectural designer for 30 years, then took a job with the state for the Bureau of Construction retired in 2016. I’m married 44 years and have 3 children And now 5 grandchildren. My wife and I are empty nesters now, oh yeah! Just a little about me.
Ok enough of that.
I hope this finds all in good health and living life to the fullest. Looking forward to meeting everyone in person.

Greetings Brothers, Supports, Prospects and well-wishers!!

First things first, prayers and positive vibes out to both Brother LAAM and Brother Grumpy for a full and speedy recovery.

Things are going in my AO. Headed up to Wyoming in the morning on a quick turn around trip. Brother Top would love to see you if you're available.

I guess both Singer and I are now fully recovered from the 'rona. Luckily hers was a lot less severe than mine. Which is good because I wouldn't wish what I had on my worst enemy.

I cannot believe how good the weather has been. Actually broke into a sweat today getting car prepped to put on trailer and getting it onto the trailer, in NOVEMBER. If this is global warming, I'm all for it!!!

Just a quick note to let everyone know we're still alive and kicking.

Greetings to all my Brothers, prospects, supports and those checking this great Club out! You are right on the money Brother Slingblade. These are indeed challenging times. I am out on my bike whenever the weather allows. Wind therapy is most calming to my spirit. Brother LAAM, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I know you will be home soon. I am counting down the days until I see you all!

I would like to say hello to all NAM VET brothers, support, and prospects. I have been asked to say a little about myself, so I will try and keep it short and to the point? My step dad started me on motor scooters when I was 11 yrs. old. Been riding something on and off ever since. For the last 20 yrs. my road name has been KILO as in kilowatt. Joined the US NAVY at 17, did 2 tours overseas, in between deployments had many training sessions at camp Pendleton, Marine base. The last deployment was with the 9th marine amphibious brigade at Da Nang. I was married for 56 yrs. with 4 children, 8 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. On Nov. 10 my wife will have been gone for a year. Her passing left a very big, and dark hole in me that was eating me up, and I was about to take that long walk off a short pier. Many long nights setting alone in the kitchen, I made a decision that this was not my home anymore. I gave my home, and property to 2 of my kids, packed up my trike, and headed east in May. Being alone on my trike, going through the badlands, black hills, the Rocky Mountains of Montana and Wyoming this last summer at 80 or 90 mph. really can blow a lot of shit out of your head. When I returned back to Bow, Washington, I felt able to handle the crap this world throws at you. I know that I didn’t do this on my own! There was many, many sessions with God asking for his help, and I know we’re not done yet.
OH I’m really not as dumb as I look, I still own a bedroom!
Wayne / KILO

BROTHERS SUPPORT AND PROSPECTS;
This is our page and those interested in our CLUB. Brothers and SUPPORT need to post on a regular basis so we know how you are doing and what's going on in your AO. Same for PROSPECTS and more for PROSPECTS only you need to POST once a month if no more than to say HI. Tell us some of your back round so we can get to know you better. Winter and riding is getting to a point we won't be traveling much so it's our way of communication.
Thanks to all who have POSTED.
Remember LAAM in your thoughts and prayers,he is still in icu and will be in hospital longer than we thought. Complications from stint failure. They fixed it but recovery will take some time. Some patches have been ordered but you know it takes awhile for her to get these sown be patient PLEASE.
I have sent PROSPECT packets out to our newest PROSPECTS if you have sent check and required paperwork in and have not received anything by weeks end let me know.
Hope to get some work done tomorrow on our page I think it will really make a difference. Wish me luck because I've been working on getting this done for years.
I HOPE IS ALL OF YOU ARE IN GOOD HEALTH

Greetings Brothers, Prospects, support, and visitors. Sling Blade you are right on the money, Mentally we are in a battle with the system, and sometimes with are own demons from things that we would like to forget. But so true that we have each other in this great brotherhood. The road and our bikes are the added therapy bonus. All is doing ok my and Brother Steamers AO. Weather is starting to hit here also, next seven days are showing high's of 63 , lows of 39-40. But that's ok, Long John's time LOL. Be safe all, LLRBF NVFFNV

Hello to Boss Skinner, Patched Members, Prospects & Support! Greetings from Sunny Indiana, 70 & sunny here today. I have been sidetracked the last two months having a colonoscopy done twice. The second one was done yesterday & everything was ok.
I think I will get out on the Trike tomorrow. It is really gratifying seeing the Prospects coming in to the club. I’m pretty confident there will be a National run next year but if there isn’t maybe we could look at a ride & campout. I know that everyone has pretty much wished Brother LAAM a full recovery after his surgery but his sudden downturn should serve to remind all of us that the membership is an older group & health problems can change suddenly so we all need to be ready to offer support to members with health concerns. That is about all I have, I just wanted to support Boss Skinner’s goal of frequent posting on the web.

Best wishes to everyone!

Zoot

Greetings and Salutations to all Brothers, Prospects, Support, and those wishing us well.
This is a mentally challenging time for us, don't let it become your life. I've lived under nine presidents, and all the hype of each one didn't change a thing. All we can do is take care of our own, keep our heads on a swivel, and look forward to the good times which outnumber the low points by far!
When your head starts spinning, come here on this page and check out the gallery and comments, that always gets me high again.
The NW weather is settling in, rain mostly, but some intervals for riding, even for an hour or two.
Committing my idle time to updating my VA loan info, and looking to relocate out of this state ASAP. I've always been in the western states, but times they are a'changing.
Did I mention it's 46 days to Winter Solstice? After that, the days get longer and the clock is ticking to the National once again!
We are a rare and strange breed, but I always feel stronger because I'm part of you all and a great club! As in earlier times, your Brothers were all you had to make the days go by easier, then and now.
It's great seeing everyone moving forward and having the best of times possible.
Wishing all dry roads, light loads, and warm abodes!

Greeting to all,
Not sure what's going on with our site, but I was the last one to post an entry on October 27, and not one brother has made an entry after that date.
I'd like to throw out a brother check to see how all of our brothers are doing, I'm doing great myself, health is good and loving life more now that I've ever.
the weather is going to be in the 70's all week this first week in November. I can remember back to the 70's when it would be freezing at this time of the year and even further back to when I was a young boy of 10 and remembering it snowing like crazy, what the heck is going on in our universe today.
I cut my grass yesterday hoping it would be the last for the year, but I see myself doing it at least one more time, bah humbug..
Well lets get this page rocking, we're making it to easy for boss skinner to run, lol, joke boss..
take my brothers, love, peace, and bacon grease..

Greeting Brothers, Prospects, Supports and well-wishers
All is good in the Buckeye State. The cold snap gave way to some warmer weather and the wind therapy has been good in my AO. Baby Girl and I have clocked 1300 miles so far. I do love that trike. Never thought I'd say that, but there it is. Life is so much easier on three wheels. Looking forward to Nationals and a chance to meet up with everybody again. Till then Stay Safe. Love you all. Greetings boss Skinner, brothers, prospects, & support

well winter is getting closer and closer now and I really dislike this time of the year, it seems like it lasts forever, I guess sitting in is better than carrying mail in all day long..

My grandson Rocky Ace was baptized this past Sunday, he didn't fuss, cry, or anything, he was so laid back enjoying the anointing of our Lord.

It's getting close to where the scooter is put away from the winter and I start driving my truck again, haven't put many miles on it since I bought it 2 years ago, covid then the bike all summer. I haven't checked the milage on LameAndy to see how many mile I put on it since buying it in March or April, it had 3,600 when I bought it..

Looking forward to the national next year, hoping all traces of this virus is gone for good and we can move on to a normal life, a life not controlled by a governing fool..

Hope this little note finds everyone in good health, praying for brother Brelon to regain his good health, I posted on gmail that Fox News suggested taking vitamins D3 & Zinc to fight the covid, I added drinking tonic water because of the quinine in it which is supposed to help as well, good luck brother..

well until my next entry, take care all, be safe, and god bless.
