Good morning to Boss Skinner, Regional Presidents, Patched Members, Prospects, and Support. Boss Skinner, I have noticed that my last post has not been posted. If I wrote anything that was offensive, or stepped over the line for a prospect. Please let me know. My intent was not to upset anyone, but jest flapping my gums through my finger. If in my ignorance I did anything wrong, I will find someone to flog me, and break my typing finger. If one is needed, I will apologize now, and not do it again?
On the brighter side the state ordered me to quarantine myself until the 13th. I get tested today at the local Walgreen drug store. My grandson stopped by Saturday, and then tested positive on Monday. I will know yes or no by this afternoon. Other than that I can’t get my bike until after the 13th. Looking forward to the spring run, have my room reservation, all set. Thanks Radio. Everyone stay healthy, ride safe, and God bless. kilo

Greetings and Salutations to all Patch Holders, Prospects, Support, and those seeking an answer to the longing in your soul for Brotherhood once again.
The World may be going insane, but we never waiver from our character and founding principles that define us.
We still ride for those who never came home, those who returned but lost the fight with their inner demons, and those who returned carrying the poisons of war.
We ride for our own- Gone But Not Forgotten.
Our patch and name reminds all who see us of a time most would not serve, and a war most would like to forget.
We are going to keep on, keeping on until the last exhaust is silent forever.
Spring is 43 days away- time to confirm routes, check maps, and get gear and service for body and ride.
I hope all are in good health and spirit, families are well, and life keeps a gleam in your eye.
It is an honor to walk and ride among you!
Wishing everyone plenty of Sun, all that you do is Fun, and look forward to the National Run!

Greetings Brothers, Prospects and Support,
All is normal in my area. Between virus and rain the poor scoot thinks it’s a garage ornament. Will be contacting location for Spring run in the morning. Hoping for some good news from them. Still have problems with local restaurants being closed or restricted to take out.
On the brighter side-expecting first great grandchild in July. May need to blow the carbon out returning from National.
Everyone ride safe and be well!
Respect to all

it's the last day of the month and I see my prospect was the last member to post a comment on here in January, keep up the great work Rascal.
Got a little snow this morning, suppose to have freezing rains today and tomorrow, D9 will be at a panic when she has to travel to work in the morning, she'll survive as we all will every year at this time..
Funny since Jobama got elected the covid cases are dwindling. Florida has opened up it's state, wonder what other Rat state will be next, hope this thing is long gone by June and we'll have a great turn out for the national.
My buddy gave me his new to me old to him, pressure cooker, and yesterday was the third time I used, I've got to say I love it, you can cook a 2.5 lb slab of beef in 55 minutes, wish I had one of these when I was working..
Had out patient surgery last Tuesday, had a lipoma removed from my neck, it grew from the size of a marble in July to the size of a mouse this past week, so I had it bye bye to Topo Gigio, so far so good..
welp, just wanted to drop a few line and get you all caught up on me, life is good. hope all is well or getting back to health, keep the sunny side up and the wind at your back and I'll see ya on the flip side..

Greetings to Boss Skinner, Regional Presidents, Patched members, Prospects, and Support. Sitting here with cabin fever as many of us are. Got out for a ride twice this month, was great. Looking for some more warm, sunny weather. I enjoy reading the posts here and wish everyone well. Looking forward to the nationals, and get to meet everyone. That’s it for now God bless and take care everyone.
GREETINGS BROTHERS, Supports, Prospects and well-Wishers.
I've sort of been holding off on posting hoping I could post some good news.
Well it finally happened! YEAH!!! I called the VA today to make arrangements to pay off the 1500+ dollar bill and found out since I'm now service connected, they ZEROED OUT my balance.
Colour me a YELLOW & BLACK HAPPY CAMPER!!!
Don't even ask about the camper though. That tale isn't so happy. But we made it home, safe and in one piece.
If things work out right, I may be riding back from National myself and I'm only about 3 or 4 hours west of DC. I'd be honored and happy to have another Brother to ride with. Of course my door is always open, there's beer in the fridge, whisky on the counter, food in the fridge and a bed to sleep in. The only caveat is, ya gotta not mind cats. Sorry Brother Buda, I'd love to have you stay here, but I like you breathing more better.
Anyway, today is a GOOD DAY
ML&R to all and a humble thank you for all each of you do for our Club/Brotherhood

Greetings Boss, Regional presidents, patched, support, etc. Well it has happened. Mouse is positive for the 19, So we are on two week Quarantine. Mine is not to bad, mainly just weak with some congestion. Worried about wife, it has hit her pretty good. Will have to keep close eye on her. Thank You Brother Steamer for offering to help us through this, much appreciated. I am very lucky he lives only few miles from us. Our mc is the best, we have each others 6, just like we did over 50 years ago. All for now. LLRBF NVFFNV
Good morning to Boss Skinner, Regional Presidents, Patched Members, Prospects, and Support.
I am setting here this morning reading the entry’s in the guests book. It seems as though each one of us has a souvenir that we brought home with us form our side trip to Viet Nam. God only knows how many I relate to. Over the years that I have been going to the VA hospital in Seattle I have set and watched the mass of people come in and go out, hour after hour. Each time I go there I ask myself did anyone come home with nothing wrong? Then I tell my self you are lucky, you came home. I talk to myself a lot, sometimes he’s pretty smart, other times not so, but at least I have someone to talk to. I talk to God also, he listens, but he doesn’t say much. If he did I am sure he would have a “whole” lot to say to me.
The things / souvenirs that have crept into our lives that are an inconvenience to us, or sometimes worse, has not stopped this group of men (brothers) from doing what they love. As long as we are still breathing, and can get upright, we will ride.
Brother ZOOT thank you for the offer of a cot at your home if I end up going to DC to the wall. Perryville MO. Has a replica of the wall. If it looks as nice as the other I may not go to DC. What I see in reading the guestbook, their seems to be other brown water vets? If so we can swap lies at National. Six mo. Is a long time so I wont hold my breath. Till then ride safe, stay warm, and get healthy.

Top of the morning Boss Skinner, brothers, prospects, & support
It's been some time since I last wrote a post, so here I am, first off I love reading everyones posts, great reading your stories and about your travels.
All is well here in my A.O. of Pennsylvania, cold, snowy, I just like sitting at home in the warmth enjoying my fake fireplace with a glass of wine and my beautiful woman D9. it's very relaxing for the both of us.
Haven't started lame/andy in a couple of months, I need to get that done. A friend got the itch to ride, stopped by to see if I was interested in taking a ride with him last Friday, I almost let him talk me into it, but got to thinking about how dirty the rodes are in these parts, they won't touch them until spring, tax payers money at work, yeah right !!
Talked to Boss Skinner on Saturday, great hearing from him, I had an issue and brought it to his attention and he had an answer which I went with along with what he said, "it's up to you, use your gut feeling" and I did just that and all are happy, thanks boss for your wisdom. There couldn't be a better club president, it's a damn shame our country couldn't follow our rules and ways..
Heading out to the Dr's today, got a fatty mass growing in my neck, she'll see what's up with it and then schedule an appointment to have it removed, I always wonder if this is a side affect of agent orange, I'm always like that with anyting abnormal that happens to me now a days.
well just want to let all know all is well here in Pa. Great health to you all and looking forward to meeting you in the near future.

Sure hope things all go well and quite over this next week. Please stay away from any encounters and be safe. I know most do not agree with what has transpired but lets wait and see how this plays out.
On another note the CLUB I assure you is in great shape growing and finances are solid.
I hope the weather breaks so we can plan patching in our PROSPECTS soon. I would like to ride to a location in the MIDWEST to PATCH_IN the two here in the MIDWEST.
Nephropathy still dealing me a fit sore feet and finger tips not right yet.Next doctor visit in March and hopefully it will continue to be good news.

Hello Boss, all Officers, patched Members, Prospects & Support! We finally had a little snow last night. I want to say Hello to Prospect Rebel, I don’t know you from In-Country but I recognized the “Look” & the small part of your boat in the picture that you were a Swift Boat Sailor. I was in Division 11 July ‘67-May ‘68 then we went to Division 14 when the Monsoon shifted to the North East. Looking forward to meeting you in June!
I think I have convinced my self to get Stage IV put in the trike while the sale is still on at the Harley shop in Bloomington. Their add now says they will pick up & deliver the bike for free.
I guess I have given up on a call from the VA in Indianapolis to schedule the COVID vaccine. I’m scheduled to get it done on the 27th of January at the Health Department in Bloomington.
Thinking about medication; the Advanced Practice Nurse who did all of the medication prescriptions for sleep, PTSD, & all the other assorted reasons here in Bloomington recently retired after more than 20 years with the VA. All of us who saw her were farmed out to new providers, I was assigned to someone who never sees her patients & is not even in Indiana. I hadn’t gotten around to asking for someone different after she missed calling me for the first 3 appointments. The 4th appointment she finally called , 20 minutes late, & started down her long checklist with me. About halfway through I was thinking this isn’t going to work, then she started taking about medications & asked how long I had been taking Temazepam for Sleep Apnea. I told her I had no idea, I couldn’t remember, “Check the record” I said. She said since 2016. Then she asked about side effects, I couldn’t think of any, she asked if I had any problems remembering things, had I had any problems with falling. Yes both of those. Then she told me that the VA did not like to have patients over 65 on Temazepam more than 6 weeks! I had been taking it for 5 years!! The biggest risk is diminished ability to use short term memory (dementia). I am always careful to look at medication side effects & to research procedures that VA Drs. want to do. Mostly though I never did that in the case of this nurse because she was the facilitator of the Combat Veterans PTSD Group & prescribed all of our medication for about 20 years. I am almost weaned off Temazepam now & feel much better & sleep better. So I think I learned a valuable lesson. My Primary Care Doctor does not believe in prescribing handfuls of pills to his patients, especially pain pills. I don’t take any for the neuropathy in my hands & feet & sciatica in my back. I get acupuncture & deep tissue massage instead.
I’m thinking about Brother Big John & his wife this evening. The last I heard they are starting their treatment for CORONA VIRUS on Tuesday next week. We all hope they have a speedy recovery & return to good health. We are all pretty much in the risky age group & have other health problems that put us in the higher risk group for the virus. I stay home as much as possible, wear my mask, & social distance & I will get the vaccine in a week & a half.
That’s all from Indiana.
