Great morning to you all,
Well it's a cold day in the burgh, 21 to be exact, burrrrr, the weather here has completely changed in the last 40 to 50 years, no deep freeze, winters are shorter, summers are longer and hardly any spring, 49ers Chiefs in super bowl 54 should be a good one, was routing for 49ers and Tennessee being they were never there.. Took a ride last Wednesday I believe it was, the temp was about 54, put on about 10 or 12 miles only because rain was on the way. Still waiting to hear from the V.A. on whether I got my disability for neuropathy, I'm guessing it's a go since I filed in May 2019, wish me luck.. Nothing new happening in Pittsburgh, Pens are winning, Steelers need a new head coach, Pirates did get a new manager, and the weather sucks. watched the Aaron Hernandez documentary (crazy stuff there), then watched another about an 11 year old girl who was raped and killed and her body was thrown into the Piedmont lake in Missouri and I was thinking that sounds familiar, was wondering if the boss was on that crime scene. well just wanted to drop a line or two, hoping this little note finds all in good health, peace to you all

I've done lot of speeches', classes, lectures and stuff like that mostly on VA info, but I always had a reference guide make my notes from. Well there aint no reference book I can go to, to get something to say to or about the NAM VETS. I can't think of any greater place to be other than with a bunch of Vets, and the Nam Vets are 18 carat gold.
The only place you don't hear a bunch of war stories is around Veterans...And Eric, we'll try hooking up nx wk. Out...

Great morning brothers,
as mister Rogers would say in these parts, it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, sun is shinning bright, my buddy Wilson is sitting in the doorway basking in the sun. looks like the weather is going to turn to crap by tomorrow. started up the scooter on Monday, felt the urge to take it around the block, but had my washing machine tore apart and had to get back to it, oh well next time.
just a shout out to Doc Gonzo for taking on the task of sponsoring me, thanks brother, looking forward to meeting you and all if possible,
Doc Gonzo what are the dates for the national meeting ?
well just wanted to give a brief sitrep to let all know life is good, until my next entry, peace be with you all

My prayers are with Brother Skinner and his family, and with a little luck, we shall be riding once again.
I would also like to extend a "Welcome Home" to our new Prospect; Hands, RTO, Gearbox, and our patch over, Wrongway.

Greetings to all Brothers, Supports, Prospects and well-wishers.

First, WELCOME HOME to our Prospects RTO & Gear Box and Hands I look forward to riding with you all!

Brother Skinner, Glad to hear from you the other day and you being well on the mend. That is the best news.

Nothing new here in my AO. Black Betty still in the shop. Chuck called last week to let me know she's tore down and just waiting on parts. I'm hopeful maybe I'll get her back this week; some of the mods are true dual exhaust, a much needed backrest which I'm more than sure I'll appreciate and best of all a new 6-speed gearbox.

Singer's search for a 3-wheeler continues. Who knew finding one in good condition, with decent miles and reasonable price would be so difficult. Limited supply I guess.

Getting a few miles in here and there as weather permits. In the middle of a rain, thunder and lightning storm right now so guess I'll stay off the roads. That and it's 0200.

That's about it, Best to all.

One last thing, PLEASE make every effort to make this year's National: 1, it will be a BLAST, the resort is a GREAT place for us to meet, relax, swap stories and yes, take care of business; 2, it's an election year; 3, I want to see and get to know each of you. I look forward to seeing all y'all at National. Til then Be Safe, watch your 6, ride 'em like you stole em'

Greetings and Salutations to all Brothers, Prospects, Supporters, and those who give a thumbs up when we ride by!
It's snowing and cold here, bike is on hold to repair until I can feel my fingers with these temperatures.
In some ways having life pass by faster at our age has a little perk- it seems like only yesterday that the summer was here. LOL!
Hey, Hey, Ho, Ho, 66 more days to Spring we go!
Get those motors running, that wax job shining, and be ready with some good reclining- our time is coming.
I wish everyone new places, happy faces, big embraces, and easy paces.

Greetings Brothers, Prospects and Support,
Our Northwest liquid sunshine has finally turned to white. Have several inches of water across road with six inches of snow on top. Just keeping shop warm so Scooters stay happy.
Soon as this white stuff leaves will need to get moving on Spring Run. Have made several trips in Fall but haven’t found anywhere that can meet our exceptionally high standards yet.
Watching snowflakes and dreaming of Spring.
Respect to all

GREETINGS Brothers, Supports, Prospects, well-wishers and others

First off HAPPY NEW YEAR, may 2020 be better than 2019, healthier, happier, more prosperous and most of all MORE RIDING DAYS!!

BIG SHOUT OUT to my Brothers on the MEND, looking forward to seeing all of you back on the road this season.

I made it through 2019; days are getting longer; weather was so nice yesterday, I got some much needed wind therapy.

Black Betty is in the shop getting some way cool upgrades that should make her all but bullet proof. You know, like the EVO engines; but will still be a big twin.

I'm looking forward to 2020 to see what she has in store. Definitely not a new bike. Although Singer is still looking for a trike. She has narrowed her search to Freewheelers. Thinks the Tri-Glides are too much./3poool2 (<Biker kitty say's "Hi")

Speaking of Biker, he's getting huge and terrorizing all but two of the other cats. I'm sure given time, he'll terrorize them also.

Brothers I don't have any profound words like Brothers Slingblade and Dutch so I guess I'll have to plagiarize theirs and say, yes this is a Club, but it's also, and more importantly a BROTHERHOOD. One that I am honored to be a part of.

While we may not all have common experiences, we do have ones that bind us together. I'm thankful for that.

ML&R, LLRBF

This year, we have gained two new Patched Brothers, and as of this point we have three Prospects wait'n to join our Brotherhood. They will make us stronger, we are about Nam Vets, Brotherhood and Bikes !
Some of us have lost family members, some have faced medical emergencies, and with that we do what we have done for the past 55 years. We Grieve, We Heal, We Widen Our Stance, Lower Our Shoulder, Dig In With Our Boot Heels, and Drive On !
Contact has been made with Brothers from our past, Brothers who took a few years off to Take Care Of Personal Business. We have not forgotten  , and it's always good to hear from you.
My gut tells me there are other Nam Vets who are looking at us, sitting in the shadows thinking about the Brotherhood we shared in Nam, wondering if it's their time. We say it and we mean it, We Will Always Make Room For A Stand Up Brother, No One Left Behind.
So, bring on 2020. We got things to do and places to go ....

Greetings and Salutations to all Brothers, Support, Prospects, and those searching, curious, or enjoying our guestbook banter.
It's been hard to come up with words to post due to the sudden loss of my little brother to a heart attack, the hole left in me will never mend. 60 years together on this rock, wild and crazy to the end. I held him as a newborn baby bro, hugged him through life, and now I hold his remains to pass on to our 95 year old mother.
His death was so unexpected that it caught us all trying to come up with the cost of having him cremated, as he didn't make such proper arrangements.
The club stepped forward to assist where needed, and eased the stress on my mom who lost her oldest son in 2018, and now another son in 2019.
I will forever remember this and do my part to pay it forward as a grateful Nomad Brother.
Every day I'm grateful to ride and stand among you, and cherish what our club represents.
Not looking for sympathy or any of that, my point is I can say what I feel and think without judgment from my Brothers, those who offer a shoulder to lean on and understanding no matter the situation- that is our Brotherhood!
On the upside, Prez Skinner is on the mend, and that makes the future brighter for all of us.
I hope everyone is in good health, and your only concern is the riding weather and runs to come!
My mind is still having blank spots in thought, and this is one of them.
I wish all a Great New Year, Good Cheer, Cold Beer, and past problems in the Rear!
