Today could have been better, Rained like crazy. On top of that have more blood work Monday to check kidneys again . Hate fasting but goes with the territory. Then to top off CT has been rescheduled for next month. My vascular surgeon who did my AAA stent and EVAR in left ILIAC won't give me release for 1600 mile trip for Natl., said not enough time has passed for total heal yet. But not letting this BS shut me out from belonging to the best mc that was ever formed NVFFNV. Have been in touch with VP Dutch , keeping him up to date. Have to just hang in there. Like my Gram used to say ( its not sugar all the time , sometimes you have to swallow some castor oil ) Until next post , Ride safe all. prospect GearBox

GREETINGS ALL,

contrary to speculation we ARE alive & well. We hope you all are also!

I've had more computer issues than Carter's got liver pills. Just got it back from its THIRD shop visit since returning from our cruise. Last one was to reinstall OS (Windows 10Pro) as it ate itself with its last update. So if any of you are running any version of Windows 10, I'd strongly suggest setting a restore point at least weekly as a precaution of the same happening to you. Had to replace hard drive & operating system (TWICE each), keyboard (oh on a side note, do NOT use a shop vac to vacuum dirt/dust &c off the keyboard. Turns out the keys aren't all that firmly attached :-O )

The cruise was MAGNIFICENT!! Not a single thing went wrong, no Corona virus, mojitos flowed like lava out of Kilauea, food and service could not have been better. I did manage to get a bit of a sunburn, but didn't slow me down.

Singer is already planning our next excursion.

Got the kinks worked out of Black Betty, now she's shifts better than new and no H-D "Clunk" when changing gears.

Singer is retiring sometime late in July. 20+ years with the VA plus her 6 in the Army.

Looking forward to National and meeting new Prospects, looking forward to more Brothers!!

greetings to you all,
I'm very depressed and got to put this out there, We ( as in brother of war ) me personally lost one of our kind yesterday, Marine Sgt. Edward T. Coyne of the 1st Marine division Vietnam 1970, passed away last evening. I went to high school with Ed, chummed around with him and was a brother with him in our VFW post 274 in our hometown, he will be missed. That war took it's toll on him as is does to us all in one form or another, sooner or later. Please keep his family in your prayers as I will, thank you..
E.T. Coyne you've been promoted, dismissed Marine... Squelch, Squelch.

Well it's that time of year again. It's Mardi Gra season in my little town of Nocona. There are Mardi Gra balls, dances, parades and what Nocona is known best for car shows. If you ever have a craving to see the cars you grew up with we have them and more. I can't wait for the parade, I get to collect beads, candy, and tickets for free beer from the Nocona brewery. I love this time of year. Well that's about all for now.
Later Everyone,

Greeting Boss Skinner, Patched members, fellow prospects, and support.
well we finally got some snow up this way last week, a whooping 3 inches which melted away in 2 days, we got a dusting last night and that's gone as already as well, hope that's it for us for the rest of the year. NOT !!
I talked to the boss the other day for about a half an hour, he said he was coming along well, which was good news to hear, he said he's working on being able to ride as he always did, what a great guy to talk to. I told him I'm looking forward to meeting him, my sponsor Doc Gonzo and members in the near future, he gave nothing but praise to Doc, he said " you two should get along well & that Doc has a wonderful wife " that's awesome.
My VFW commander back here Bob Perris gave me two tickets for the DAV dinner/dance for Saturday night, which comes at the best time, Valentines day weekend, I'll be taking my best friend Daneen Roller, aka D-9 so we should have a great time.
Well my friends and soon to be brother, I hope you are all doing well, be safe, until my next post

It's been awhile since I've posted anything so here we go.
Twin and I had a good Christmas with my daughter and her boyfriend. Everyone got way more than they deserved, but were all gratefull. I put in solar panels, they're working just need summer to get here so I can really save up some power.
We celebrated Twin's birthday last weekend. I got him a engraved bar set from Mancrate. Unfortunately the decanter was broken. BUT the people at Mancrate were really nice and are going to replace it for me.
In the time between New year and now I have managed to twist my knee, I'm still learning how to walk, and I bent down to pick up some change at a restaurant and fell over backwards and whacked my head on a cement floor. Needless to say Mickie and I spent that evening in the emergency room. I think that's enough to keep ya'll entertained for awhile.
Later

A great morning Boss Skinner, patched members, fellow prospects & support...
it's a chilly one today here in Pittsburgh after the temperature being 67 on Monday, got my truck washed and wax only to get it dirty last night in the rain.
so far no snow has come our way this year, which is highly unusual, then again who needs it. I can remember when I was a mailman, I lived the postal creed year round, and now the creed hardly exists.
Got to go down to Pittsburgh to get my conceal carry license renewed either today or tomorrow.
all is good here in the burgh, hope all are doing great, for those who are not up to par, I wish you good health, so until my next entry, I bit you all farewell

Good Day All I'm new and just want to say hello to all the Brothers. I live in Maine and we have about a foot of snow on the ground will be glad when it's gone. I have been riding since I was 15 I’ll be 72 next week. Mostly Harleys but now I’m riding a 2017 Indian Chief. I just rebuilt and old California sidecar and mounted it on the bike. When you get older you need more room for stuff LOL. I am a 70% disabled vet. Hope to see all at the nationals.

Great morning to you Boss Skinner, Members, Prospects & Support,
Still waiting to hear from the V.A. on my neuropathy claim, got an email about a month ago saying they would be in touch with me by January, just got another now saying they will be in touch by February, all good, at least it isn't a reject letter.
The days are getting longer by the day, lol, can't wait until late March early April, because the good times will be rolling.
the girlfriend and I watched Rambo, last blood the other night, pretty crazy movie, you know those Vietnam veterans, they're not to be messed with even at 70, lol
well not much to report, life is good, god is great, and peace be with you all, until my next post.

Greetings Patchholders, Prospects, Supports and well wishers.
Getting my bikes ready for spring. Yesterday had a new battery and ape hangers put on my Scout.
Next the Kawasaki Vulcan gets a tune up and oil change. Finally the Harley TriGlide gets new rear breaks, oil change and tuneup. Next wash, wax all three. Still don't have a CDI for the 85 Virago Yamaha says they can get one but it has to come from Japan.
Beginning to think I'll never see it run again.
Love and respect to all.
