Just an update on my road name. Since my last name isn't Parker anymore, JP doesn't make sense and Jody already has JP. So I am going to change my road name to TX Girl. Hope that's okay with everyone.

Greetings to all Brothers, Supports, Prospects and well wishers!!!

First, THANKS to Prez Skinner for getting our site back up and running. I understand voodoo more than computers LOL

Ride back to my AO from Spring run was wet, cold and mostly not fun. And as an added bonus, I caught something; cold, flu, pneumonia, I don't know, but it's still kicking my ass whatever it is.

Other than that, I'm doing well. Got some needed repairs done to my truck

Beth and I are working on putting in a garden. To me it looks like we'll be able to feed the entire State, it's a stinking huge plot she's got laid out.

Looking forward to some serious seat time heading to National and meeting up with everyone again.

Thank you National President Skinner for getting the website restored and available again!
Greetings and Salutations to all Brothers, Supporters, Prospects, and those weighing the decision to commit to our club life.
I just got back from the NW regional ride, and it's hard to put into words the joy and excitement to see everyone - old and new faces as we pulled into the parking lot.
Stories, updates, life events, laughter, or just lounging in a group and enjoying the camaraderie of being with those you can trust in this insane world- both Patcholders and Support members.
To those on the fence about us - Why wait? If not now- when? Time waits for no one. Listen to our words, see our Brotherhood in the gallery, read our mission statement, our honor is there for all to see if they only look with honest eyes.
I wish all soft warm nights, minimal critter bites, and every day bringing you some awesome sights!

As I was riding to O' Fallon today. Kept seeing group after group to 50 to 60 bikes going the other way.
It finally dawned on me that I was seeing the Run For The Wall, it is sad because this is the final run., also for Rolling Thunder. The cost has gotten so high that this is the last year. Found myself shedding a tear for it. Maybe some time in the future this could be an East Region Run.
Admin Reply by: raymondkoch
unfortunately most things do come to an end.however the town of Perryville,Mo. has built a exact replica of the WALL and a great Veterans Memorial and will host a run is September.Starts in Springfield ,Mo. and runs thru here to Perryville.I plan on making tat run for sure.

Happy Easter - Members, Support, and Prospects! We are enjoying a typical Texas spring. It will be great all week and then the temperatures drop and it rains all weekend! I'm getting a little tired of it, I haven't had a chance to ride the motorcycle Mickie bought me for Valentine's Day... Grrr. Well at least I'm getting some walking in, YAY!!!
See you in June!!

GREETINGS Brothers, Supports, Prospects & well wishers!!

First CONGRATULATIONS to Brother Twin & Jackie on their recent nuptials!!

Looking like Spring has really, finally arrived here. Warm enough to really get out and do stuff this week. Looking at some storms tomorrow, probably just a lot of rain here.

Looking forward to Spring Run will be good to get to meet a Prospect or two.

Need to get my Bumblebee in as she developed an "odd noise" in the front jug on the last leg of last year's epic tour. This year's riding will be on Black Betty ('03 Electra Glide standard)

Best to all

Greetings and Salutations to all Brothers, Prospects, Supporters, and the interested!
Spring is fighting for it's right to shine this year, Winter is holding on with all it's got until the end- then it's our turn!
The birds singing, flowers blooming, and the sunshine gleaming on the chrome of our motorcycles. The smell of fresh oil going down the filler cap after an oil change, the rattle of the air compressor bringing tires to the correct psi, and the squeak of freshly oiled leathers ready to protect from what nature throws at 'cha .
We check the miles to various destinations, gear up, and enjoy the sensations and exposure that goes with it.
We ride for those who can't, and those who are gone but always in our hearts and souls.
We ride to represent all Vietnam Veterans that we're still here and will not be forgotten or dismissed.
It is our duty and our honor to do this 24/7, 365 days a year.
I am humbled to be counted among you.
I hope all are in good cheer, that your skies soon clear, and the weather gets warm enough for a cold beer!

Brothers, Prospects and Support,
Hope all are well. As for me and mine alls well. So went for a long ride the other day and I thought everything was going good untill I got a few miles from home. Stopped at the parts store, went in and came out, looked at my bike *SHIT* my right side saddlebag was gone with the wind literally!! I remember hitting a few potholes (South Carolina) does'nt have any, but I never thought my H.D. would fail in any way (cough) but it did! I took off and went the same route back but NOOOO BAAAGGG!!!
Called my insurance carrier and the deductable was $500.00 EEEKKK! so I had them drop it to $250.00. Why you say! I Went to H>D , I knew I would have to sit down. $1,275.00 later and up to 30 day wait time.Bag has to be color matched and HD only had 1 year of that color so none in the inventory. So note to self people if you have hard bags keep a close watch on your latches!

Nam Vets MC
First thing I want to say, my father was a Vietnam Veteran who loved his motorcycle, and he was my hero. It was not often that he spoke of your war, but when he did I listened.
My second statement is, I cannot tell you what it means to see a Vietnam Veteran MC patch on the road. It speaks of who you were then and who you are now. I can not imagine the roller coaster ride you men have endured, the hurt and the anger. You were reviled and now revered, dishonored and now honored.
I have talked with Vietnam Veterans who have said It Don't Mean Nothing, and after listening to my dad, I understand where that comes from. Seeing patches like yours and the few other Vietnam Veterans MC's that are still on the road, affords me the opportunity to tell your story (and my fathers story) to my kids and my grandchildren. They will know who you are !
I was looking at your web site the other day after work, and explaining your story, my fathers story, to my grand daughter. The truth is, she is surly too young to understand what it was I was saying, but I told it anyway.
I understand you Vietnam Vets grouping together in a motorcycle club, and I must assume that, in some ways, it still feels like "each other is all you have".
I want you to know that I honored you as a small boy, and I honor you today. Time is not your friend and I say "Keep Riding", enjoy the road and your brotherhood, you warriors have surly earned that. Know that there are some of us who still remember and will tell your story, my fathers story, for as long as we can find someone to listen.
I am filled with pride when I see your patches on the road, in them I see my father, and for me you ride for my dad.
When I am out and I run into a Vietnam Veteran patch, whether it's a MC cube or a lone vet, I buy the beer. It's a promise I made.
It's my hope to one day have the privilege and honor to buy a Nam Vets MC patch holder his beer.
I honor and respect you all, Thank You for your service !

brothers, i am still in se asia, i got out of the house today and checked out a small shop not far from where i am. they had 4 HD bikes available for test riding. i didn't have a helmet so i couldn't ride until an expat aussie that was there filming the event for his you tube channel. i guess filming was slow, cause he offered me his helmet and away i went on the yellow street bob, hammer down, hahaha. he was filming so our colors should be on a youtube channel in a week or so in thailand. oh yeah, only in thailand anything can happen, it was 41c today, never could forget this kind of heat.

Greetings Patch Holders, Prospects, Support, and watchers.
Winter has been very kind us this year here in Weiser Idaho, shoveled snow maybe twice, no subzero temps and took a ride on New Years day 🙂
Thinking this is good news for the rest of the year.
On March 29th Vietnam Veterans Day, there will be a gathering at the Capitol in Boise ID to Honor our local Vietnam Vets, rest assured our colors will be present.
I have perhaps 4 runs planned for this year to include our Northwest regional, National, plus a trip to Crater Lake, OR. on up the Coast up to WA and Home, plus a Camp out to Sandpoint Idaho hauling my camp tailor with my bike. and anything else I can dream up with. Lol
I'll be 70 this year so getting all the riding in I can come up with.
Kawasaki Vaquero has been good to me.
Prayer for safe travels for all my Brothers this year and hope to see you all at one time or another.

Greetings to all Brothers, Supports, Prospects and Well-Wishers!!!

Just got back from a nice, albeit short vacation. Headed South for some Sun and warmer temps. We were not disappointed.

Beth got on two-wheels for a bit, I have video proof. So she's coming along on that.

Back in my own AO, rained yesterday; today was GREAT!! Might have to get some wind therapy if this weather keeps up.

Really looking forward to Spring Run; wish more could attend, but life oftentimes gets in our way.

Oh, btw, did NOT get warm fuzzies from either Charleston SC HD dealership. Called one, phone rang once and cut off; the other one had a voice mail answering machine. Really? Voice mail? Glad I wasn't broken down or needing assistance. Your experience may differ.

Brothers, Prospects, Supports and well wishers.
The weather is typical for Southern Illinois cold followed by a warm up then cold again. Lots of rain and sleet.
Finally got off my duff and got my Illinois and Florida
CCW renewed, had previously renewed my Utah license. I do wish we would get a nationwide reciprocity agreement.
Haven't worked on the bikes for weeks. Got to get them fine tuned for another riding season.
We have many wonderful things coming up this year.
