OK, here I am again. Top of the morning Boss Skinner, Regional Presidents, Patched Brothers, Prospects, and Support. I am in the Black Hills of SD. In my heart this will always be home, where I was born, and lived the first part of my life. Had my trike in a private HD repair shop to do a couple of minor things, before I leave for nationals. From the time I first got my trike, till I dropped it off last week, I have never been able to put it into neutral with my foot. I have had to reach down and use my hand. When I first walked into this shop there was a lady picking up her trike that she had a none HD part installed in her clutch. So as I listened to what was being said, she had the same trouble with neutral as I did. The mechanic had replaced her shift drum with an after market one. This NL shift drum moved neutral from between first and second, to all the way down to where first was. Guess what I had him install on my trike. The old girl had over 28000 mi. on her front foot, so I had a new shoe put on the front. I picked her up yesterday, and rode away smiling. I am visiting my brother, and sister while I wait for the NW Patched Brothers to pass by so I can hook up with them on their way to Nationals. Ride safe everyone I want to meet as many of the Patched Brothers, and Prospects as I can at Nationals.

Greetings all!

Yard sale last weekend went really well. Got rid of a BUNCH of stuff. Surprisingly, I posted some clothes on FB marketplace and there's been a LOT of interest.. wow!

Got lucky and are in the process of selling the old RV! Doc and I will have to work our tushies off tomorrow to get all our stuff out of the old and into the new. Hopefully, the rain we're getting today will have gone elsewhere. 🙂

That's all for now!

Greetings Boss, all my Brothers, Prospects and Supports. I hope all are in good health or if not on the mend. Nationals is just around the corner now! I’m itching to hit the road to see all my Brothers! Memorial Day is here once again. For us, Memorial Day doesn’t come once a year. It is with us every day. Not one day goes by when my lost Brothers are not in my thoughts! I mourn their loss and celebrate the good times we had! I raise my glass to all my Brothers lost but not forgotten. Stay safe this weekend!

Presidents, Patched Members, Prospects and Support, hope this message finds everyone in good health and preparing for National. Raining here today again, this is the 10th day out of 11. This morning the news said to watch out for tics because it’s been so wet. Couldn’t believe this was true, but after working outside this morning, came in to take a shower and had 5 ticks doing their thing! Watch out people in wet areas!! Hoping we don’t have a Lyme disease pandemic this year.
Can’t wait to meet everyone at Nationals.

Tic Toc Tic Toc, normally Time flies. Here lately as we get closer Nationals. Time seems to be dragging her feet or maybe it's just me being overly anxious.

Great morning Boss Skinner,Patched Brothers, Prospects, & Support

it's been a while since my last post so where do I start, lets start with my grandson having his first birthday, it was such and great feeling to know that my blood runs through his veins and to see how fast he progressing, I love that little boy with my heart and soul.

Had a great time at Doc Gonzo & Singers home earlier this month during our divisional spring run, they are such wonderful people and their hospitality was endless, Prospect Rascal got his top and bottom rockers and his MC patches, I am a proud sponsor to see a future brother move up in the ranks,

Today as I sit here and type this message I have such a proud feeling in my heart because I have the great honor to plant flags on the graves of the 14 thousand veterans at Calvary cemetery here in Pittsburgh, I've been doing this for 7 years now and it never gets old, we had about 20 volunteers yesterday and most were our age old, with the exception of one 22 year old young lady, all were proud to be there..

D9, myself and about 6 other couples are riding out to Gettysburg this up coming weekend to take in some history, she has never been there and she is so excited to see part of our country's history.

well I've got to get ready to set out and continue this task because they all have to be done by memorial day and the time flys when you're doing something you so enjoy.

until my next post, I hope my message finds all in great health and ready to " Roll On " to the nationals in June

Greetings Boss ( Happy Birthday ) . Greetings fellow Patched Holders, Prospects, Support, etc. All is good my AO. Have signing on this house 6/24. Looks like we are staying in this AO. Inspection report for TX did not work out. No Biggie, Life always throws a curve now and then. Our agent is pretty good and has been looking at different homes here. Will work out ok, Don't have to be out of here till end of July. Buyer's are pretty cool, gave us plenty of time to find place. And it saves us a ton of move money. Will keep you updated Boss. All for now. Prayers and positive thoughts to all on mend. Ride Safe all. LLRBF NVFFNV

Hello Boss, Officers National & Regional, Patched Members, Prospects, & Support Members!

I want to say the 2nd Annual NE/SE Regions Spring Run was a success because of the Support by Singer (SE Region) & Doc Gonzo (SE Region President). They are great hosts & have gone all out the last 2 years to make it fun. Last year & this year the Spring Run was used to welcome new prospects, last year was Thumper & RTO, this year was Rascal. RTO was selected, after he patched-in, to be the first Sergeant At Arms for the newly formed NE Region. I checked my mileage after my Nomad ride to Beckley, WV & back home (including our ride down to Bristol, VA for lunch) & the 3-day ride was 1,218 miles. For some crazy reason I thought WV would be warm—NOT! 😎 Doc rescued me by loaning a jacket. The first week of June, Bessie (my Service Dog) & I are caging to Kampsville, IL for the Annual Flintknapping gathering at the Archaeology Center there. We spend the week gathering flint in dry stream beds, heat treating it & then chipping arrowheads out of the flint.

I will see everyone at the NAMVETS Annual Run the end of June. It should be a good time.

Top of the evening to our President Skinner, Regional Presidents, Patched Brothers, Prospects, and Support. See how I am not a Patched Brother,I seem to have run into a small problem. I would like to say something to a Patched Brother, but how do I address him. Mister, Sir, Patched Holder I am going to shoot for the last. PATCH HOLDER Dutch, MT. is and always has been a beautiful state, but at times it "sucks". I have been stuck in this motel in Butt, MT. for two days now waiting for the SNOW to stop falling on the rocky mt. pass, so I can go on to Rapid City. I hate snow, I hate snow, I grew up on the East side of the Black Hills of SD. Did I say I hate snow. Well tomorrow I head over, and if I happen to slid off into some canyon, I will haunt you and this state forever. Your Prospect

Sit'n here think'n about last weeks Regional Run.
When we left, got to do something that I don't get to do often. Got to ride that "second" position", where I could get a good look at this Patch we have chosen to wear. Taken it all in.
We hit the Interstate, I put my front tire right even with BD's rear tire, and we started the dance.
We rode like we had been riding together for 50 years. Pass'n trucks and cars, changing lanes like it was one bike instead of two, all the while do'n 80 mph ...... and we did it for 100 miles. It was poetry on two wheels.
What a blast !

Greetings Brothers, Prospects and Support,
2021 Spring run for the NWR turned out well. Weather always a crap shoot in our AO. Not the first time for the NVMC in Soap Lake for good reason. Not often do business owners go so far out of their way to make sure we enjoy our stay.
Ready to get on to National. Fresh fluids and a bug scrub and away we go. Anxious to see my Brothers and all the new Prospects.
Ride hard, stop often and stay safe.

Greetings and Salutations to all Patch Holders, Prospects, Support, and those out there who never felt they could relate with anyone other than another who served during the Vietnam War.
Sitting at home still under the effects of the "road morphine" from the NW Spring Run. A great place to stay-Masters Inn at Soap Lake, WA, who's owner provided us with a fantastic feast, cold brews, Brothers, Support Sister, open roads, new places to visit, and more memories for the soul! For the first time in years I felt NORMAL again.
Everywhere we rolled, people saw the patch and the Club who wears it with honor.
Thank you to NW President Radio, Support Trina, and the Brothers and Prospects who made it a fun success
I wish all smooth roads, balanced loads, and comfortable abodes!

Thank you NW Nomads for including me in the 2021 NW Spring Run. Best year so far. Nice meeting the Prospects Kilo and Draco. Great guys. Had a lot of fun. Motel owners again were kind enough to supply dinner the last night and Chef Radio did a beautiful job with the steak and chicken. Have a great National. Hope to make it some day. Thank you also to all of the members for welcoming me. Love them.
