Good Morning All,
First I want to remind you to pay your dues before the end of January so Laam can close out the books for the year.
Second response to request for posting was good however some still need to let us hear from ya.namvetsmc.com
Third the CLUB is in great shape strong loyal members and our finances are solid thanks to all of you.We have a new Prospect ZOOT some have met others looking forward to at Spring run.
Fourth Steamer is on the mend and should be able to make National.
Fifth I do not know of any other member in bad shape just the normal aches and pains we all share.
Sixth very sad to hear our V.P. and Nancy lost their rescued pet.Dogs and cats take on a very special place in our families and it is always painful to see them leave. However we all will reunite someday and all our pains will subside.Riding in the wind forever.
I along with all looking forward to Spring the Northwest has a ride developing and East has one set in stone.
Brothers and Support you have my never ending respect and gratitude for all you.THANKS

Hello to all my Brothers and Support. All is well in the Northwest. A trace of snow and plenty of the wet stuff. Trying to get yard in shape between rain events. Not a lot of progress yet.

Replaced battery, changed oils, waiting on tires but ready for a quick getaway. Spring Spring!!!!

Hoping a great year ahead for all my Brothers and their families.

Respect to all

Greetings and Salutations to all Brothers, Supports, Prospects, and those yearning for the brotherhood we represent!
No excuses for my tardiness on the site- it's a new year with new challenges. I'm having trouble with the SSA, and may have to find work to solve it. I have an appeal in works, but time is not on my side.
Everything is on hold, my medical needs and plans have to wait for the bureaucrats.
It's been mild weather in my AO, and I welcome it.
Despite all that, life is good as long as I can stand up and have a heartbeat! Lol!
I hope all are keeping their eyes on the prize, enjoying the sunrise, and living life with no compromise!
LLRBF,
Sling Blade

I've been sitting here looking at this page since my last post on January 2. HOPING someone else would step up and post something, even if it's just, "I'm well and my AO is good".

Brothers Skinner, Dutch and John have put a TON of time and effort and probably some of their own money into this page; but they're only human and if they don't see anyone supporting it, I'm sure it will go away. Personally I don't want that, and I know I've been guilty of not posting as often as I should. Oh sure, I can come up with a ton of excuses why I don't post, but we all know what excuses are like.

Really Brothers, I was hoping another Brother would post something so I wouldn't have virtual back to back posts.

I'll insert a SHOUT OUT to the well wisher who posted on 1/9. Thank you ML&R to you.

Come on Brothers, let's show some love and not be just a one run a year and maybe FaceBook Holiday greetings. Yes, I'm talking to myself here as well.

If you've made it this far; a little on my AO. Doing well here, so far all the major storms have missed Beth and I. Today was 55 degrees if you can believe that, with late afternoon rain.

I was out riding the other day, like a dumb a$$ looking at this giant pot hole, Ya, I hit it. Luckily the only thing it did was further loosen up an exhaust hanger, so I'll have to fix that. Rhonda, my bumble bee, is down for awhile; there's a really loud noise coming from the area of the front jug so will have to tear that down and hope and pray it's not too expensive to fix. But it's a Harley, and we all know how that goes.

Oh, here's a question, Prez edit this out if necessary, Beth may not be able to ride for National, but she's planning on it. You know what happens with plans. So her Plan B is drive and she was wondering if it might be a good idea to tow my 2-bike trailer in case of mishap or break down. Really it would probably have room for only one bike as we'd put hers on it. Anyway, if anyone has any thought on that, we'd be glad to hear them.

Okay, so this is the longest post ever. I didn't write anything to piss anyone off; I wrote it as much to myself as anyone and to no one other than myself directly as I have much love and respect for each of my Brothers.

Till next time

LLRBF

Hoping all are well in health and spirit. As for me and the wife things could'nt be better. Started pre spring trimming on bushes and trees what fun.
Looking forward to Spring Run in S.C. Fun things ahead as a big number of Bikers will be there for M.B. Bike Week ! You don't have to look to hard to find FUN, it's will be there! There will be some of the Big Five and Support Clubs there. East Prez. Grumpy task me with recon and I will be going there from time to time to gather info on events and happenings there and surrounding areas. Leo will have a very strong presence there so no wheelies and burnouts on the streets ha!! Other than that things are great and can't wait to see East Brothers and wishing West Brothers clear days and safe rides.

I guess it had to happen. Winter hit Montana last night, 12" to 14". Spent the day dancin' with the snow blower. Guess the heads up is "it's headed your way". Was not a real cold storm, so that's something. Still try'n to squirrel away money for this years rides, at least the bike will be in "like new condition"..lol

Taking a minute to wish all Brothers, Prospects, Support and Family members a Merry Christmas, and a safe New Year.
Finding myself being grateful for what we had this past year, and what we will have for the coming year. With this life path we were given, it's hard to put to words what your Brotherhood means to me. Sometimes the Holidays, the long winter, can be tough for some, but this Patch should give strength. We are not alone, we have each other. NEVER FORGET ..!
Look'n forward to the miles, the smiles, the hugs, and even the bugs.
I can feel the road start'n to call, lets roll ....

Season's Greetings. Officers, Patch Holders, those Retired, Prospects, Support, Club Families, and Page Visitors.
My Prayer is that you all have a Blessed Christmas with friends and families and celebrate God's gift.
As we anticipate the New Year I recall last years get together's from Regional Runs to our National gathering which all were wonderful times. Anytime Nomads can get together it's going to be a Great time.
May the New Year keep us all healthy, strong, while rolling down the road all we can and rubber down.
Let's keep our Nam Vet Nomad Brotherhood Strong, keeping in touch and encouraging each other as these long Winter months that lie ahead for us who chose the Nomad life style. With the hope of a new season of riding next Spring and great expectations of new membership and many happy trouble free miles .
Respects NVFFNV Nat Chap Herky
