I'm not much into clubs anymore but I just wanted to say "Welcome Home" to all of my Nam brothers and sisters out there. I was in Nam in 68-69 and served with the 1st Marine Air Wing in Chu Lai.

Hey Brothers,
Holloween in Clearlake. Third mile through the woods to my house. No trick or treaters since grandkids are grown. So no candy! If the little buggers come through the dark woods to my house, they get cash. They will need it for a shrink when they get older.
Ride safe this Winter and think Spring!!!

A really fine window for a few days here in Idaho for a final overnighter, 360 miles away. Looks like a solo as we often have to do here in the Northwest region. It will be some fine riding time for Fall colors and get my head wrapped around another winter of no 2 wheel fun. I will be checking out Wallace ID, where we had hoped to do the NW fall run, but with the terrible fire situation and thick smoke which seemed everywhere we choose to cancel. Perhaps it will be a candidate for our Spring Run. I'll be checking with the NW Crew and we'll make a plan for the coming year. I need to get to packing a few things and been waiting for the temps to get a little warmer before I head out. Lol. Ride when you can my Brothers, My highest RESPECT to the Nam Vet's NOMADS. Herky Nat. Chap/ NW Prez.

Hello Brothers,Support and lookers;
Well cold and wet here and deer season for kids starts in the morning. Was suppose to take Grandson but he screwed up and received a (d) in band because of some late assignments so he is in the dog house and does not get to go.Kanddis was even going to give him her spot in the tree platform instead she will go.Put the propane tank in there yesterday for our heater so we are set.She has decided to use a Browning bolt action 308 this year we shall see.Not that she can't shoot it but ya never know what will happen when and if the deer appears.
Hope all r healthy and in good spirits.
Dutch is still working hard to get this site to where it needs to be and I hope when John gets back he will step up to help. He's out of pocket for awhile.
Not much else going on Grumpy made his trip south but cut it short because he ate some bad food.Really sorry to hear that.
Griz from out West sent me a text inviting anyone to Rolling Thunder and then on to Maine.Would be a great ride(sure miss him) but it's around time we plan our National and that's a mandatory ride for all officers so it's going to be a tough one to do.
okay all I miss not being on the bike riding together and throwing back a few but it is that time of year,if u do ride please be safe.P L E A S E take time and post a few words so we know how u r or if u r in need of anything.

It does my heart good to see how far we've come in such a short time. My utmost RESPECT to all my Brothers. You have all stepped up and moved mountains to bring our Club to where it is today. I've been riding when I can and showing our colors to all. A huge Thank You to all our National Officers for all you do on a daily basis for this great Club.

Even here in Southern Illinois the days for long runs are dwindling. But what I will have is memories of one hectic year where we came into our own. Brothers united behind a patch that is ours and a commitment to make the Nam Vets MC known and respected. Every single
Patchholder must do their part to make this happen.
In Country and Era Vietnam Vets are welcome to check us out.

Noticed on the page counter there is over 400 visits in a short time. If your just passing thru and giving a look at our page please drop a note and give a greet, and if your looking for a Home to hang your boonie cap and share in this fine Nam Vet and Nam Era Vet give us a shout of who you are and ask about this fine Brotherhood.
Much Respect

Greetings and Salutations to all Brothers, Supporters, and those looking in to get a SITREP.
Great mods to the page! It goes along with the new patch and direction this club is going.
I'm stylin' and profilin' our patch anywhere I can with great compliments and respect in return- and not one objection. It's all in how we conduct ourselves and represent each Brother and the Club in our bearing and behavior, situational awareness at all times.
I just realized it's only 60 days to winter solstice and the days getting longer all the way to June of 2018! Woohoo!
Making plans, memorizing cities, routes, and updating our rides to handle any condition we operate them in.
Time spins on at a high RPM, but we do our best to squeeze every drop from it- making quality over quantity our creed and lifestyle.
It's great hearing from all about family, rides, brotherhood, and what hijinks we can get ourselves into. Technology makes the time and distance fade between us- a long way from 2-4 weeks waiting for a letter or package or making a collect call with no answering machines!
I hope everyone has a full belly, a biker movie on the telly, and a load of wood in the potbelly.
"Though I ride through the interstates of life, I have no fear- for my Club Brothers are with me."
Once more unto the breach, dear Brothers, once more-
LLRB,
Brother Sling Blade

Woke this morning think'n about our journey and how far we came in such a short amount of time.
From the decision to "move on", to the Patch and Name. The back and forth, the give and take, we took the phrase Adapt - Improvise - Overcome to a whole new level. Brothers stepped up !
Get'n those Patches & Stickers made .... Brothers stepped up !
Having our 1st. National under our new Patch ... Brothers stepped up !
Having our 1st vote and picking the right Brother to lead us, a Brother who bleeds Yellow & Black and devotes a 110% each day to the success of this Club ... Brothers stepped up !
We have new Regions and new Officers .... Brothers stepped up !
Getting a Web Page up and running ... Brothers stepped up !
Now the plans are being drawn for next years National ... Brothers stepped up !
This is a massive amount of accomplishments in a very short amount of time, and it's all because ... Brothers stepped up !
For some of us, we are looking at putting our scoots away, dream'n about the new year to come. This is no time to sit back and relax, there is work to be done. Don't let a few bare the load, we are all in this together, we are Nomads !
We are aging, at what seems to be a rapid pace. Ideas are what will keep us young and keep us moving forward, notice the phrase used over and over "Brothers stepped up" .... That's our secret.
To you who wear this Patch, stayed true to your Brothers, through the ups & downs, the good & the bad, we have taken the 1st step on a long road..... I can write how Proud I am of all of you, of the Patch we wear, and the Brotherhood we share.
Respects To You All !

Some of the Brothers know about my project bike, a 85 virago I've owned since it was new, after 20+ years sitting it's coming back to life. Finally found the parts I needed to rebuild the the twin carbs, so now they are done. Now going through the wiring. Finally new rubber. Cleaning and polishing. A little bit of new paint. Maybe by next spring if I'm lucky. Keeps me busy.

Greetings, Looking at temp's in the upper 60's and maybe a 70 for the next few days, going to make the most of it. Brother Radio will be visiting a relative in my AO so we hope to get together for a meal and do some catching up. Hearing of a rerun of last winter which was sub zero way too long and nearly 4 ft. of snow, if that be the case move over Brother Buda, be rolling your way next year. Lol.
Keep it safe on the road and sane thru the Winter.
God Bless Chap. Herky.

Today, Monday, I went back to the V.A to register for the agent orange shit but all they did was take blood so I will have to make another trip ,imagine that.Paper work and wait and trips and gas etc.Going to call and make an appointment with V.A. advocate to see if I can possibly collect a little for my ears and stuff never have filed anything before but maybe it's time.
Dutch has figured out how to put a counter on this page (nice job u r doing BROTHER) so another improvement. We keep movin on up and forward.
One BITCH I have .BROTHERS some of u still have not posted anything. We are not asking for u to tell the world about yourself just want to hear from u and it helps push us up the ladder so to say.
