Ronald Green when I was in Vietnam
There was no thought of color. We were brothers in arms. How any military MC
could think otherwise, I don't know. If you apply and a accepted you will find we are a Brotherhood who care about each other. It is the only way a Nomad club can survive. I for one would be glad to welcome you.

I was very surprised to see Nam Vets Nomad Club. I was impressed by the wording of the by laws. I first became aware of VNVM/C in 1986 and associated with a great bunch of brothers and saw a Black Vet patched into the Rockville MD chapter. Fast forward many years later I stopped riding and returned to two wheels. I inquired into VNVM/C and was told only whites were accepted no more any Nam brother. My question is, what are requirements for Nam Vets Nomads regarding race. Thank you. My name is Ron Green USMC. 1973 1977. rondalegreen@gmail.com.

Hello Brothers, Supports, Prospects, & well wishers! Greetings from the Great coal mining State of West (by God) Virginia!!!

Well, damn, I was looking forward to attending this year's National on a shiny new (to me) Electra Glide. Not in the cards this year, so you'll be seeing me on old, reliable Rhonda.

Turns out Black Betty, aptly named as I've discovered, needs a bunch of work before she's totally road-worthy. That's okay though, that will give me an extra year to put some flair on her.

Can hardly wait to get to see my Brothers again. It's going to be EPIC!!! Likewise I can hardly wait to get a another GREAT LONG ride under my belt.

Greetings BROTHERS; Supports, Prospects, friends and well wishers.

My AOR remains WET, almost as bad as Slingy's up there in the top left corner.

Got room reserved for me and our Brother riding together.

Big day tomorrow, I'm closing on my new house. Brothers it's HUGE, plenty of room for all y'all to drop in anytime. Door is always open as you all know.

Getting excited about National. Really looking forward to time with Brothers; and getting some decent miles on my scoot this year. If everything goes the way I'm planning, I'll get more miles in this Summer than I have in the past 3 years combined.

Anyways, just thought I'd drop a line or two and let everyone know I'm still alive and reasonably well. Oh, on that, started PT at the local VA Hosp. Even after just one visit, I've had great progress and now feel I'm pretty much where I should be in recovery.

Read some great words on our GB. The line was drawn and we stepped over it, Every Brother must look inside and decide on the move they made.
Our strength comes from those who did not bail !
Today is Memorial Day, and I did what I have always done, I rode. The Patch we wear gives me iron....
I stopped at a crossroads to pound down a cold one. Was standing in a shaded spot when I saw a white SUV pull onto the road where I was parked. It was the local Sheriff , he waved as he drove by my sled. What can I say, I'm left handed. I raised my left hand to wave back, forgetting I was holding a fresh can of beer in it. He smiled and drove on by ??? Only in Montana ! Respect to all my Vietnam Vet Brothers, it's been a long road !

As we near the 1st anniversary of the founding of our Brotherhood, I would like to thank everyone for the hard work and great courage it took to make the leap. Some who I still call Brothers could not see their way to go with us.
It is a sad thing, we are making it work.
I live in an area dominated by a 1% club
And have no problems wearing my colors everywhere. Have been asked why we are not affiliated with a dominate club, the answer is easy. I tell them that a Nomads we ride in many states and an affiliate, or known associate, patch would put our Nomad status in jeopardy. I maintain friendly ties and exchange cards and Respect to all.
Once again, my hat off to all who have decided to take the journey with us.
My love and Respect.
Grumpy.

Brothers, Prospects and Support,
Hope all are well. All good in my A.O.
Can't wait to land at LZ Days End for Brotherhood at it's finest! I know it will be 1 for the books. I am bringing my GoPro so I can record and hopefully make somewhat of a video to reflect on later. Glad to hear Brothers had a good run in the West . Just looked at the calendar and man o man it is getting closer than I thought ! Sickle had a health check and all is well. Rode to Myrtle Beach Spring Rally, what a good turnout ! Got a lot of comments on our Colors all good! Keep on keepin on Brothers it won't be long now!
All for now, Bear out!

Just returned from a great Northwest Spring Regional, was good to see Brothers again. Seattle & Scout attended (I thought they were just a legend), along with Support Stephanie & Trina. NWRP Herky put a lot of work in getting this together, and hit it out of the park. What Herky accomplished was a Regional with a 100% attendance, along with our Support. I don't know if that will ever "repeat", but I sure hope so. The weather (at least for me) was spectacular, Brothers on the Washington coast had to deal with a little wet, but it didn't stop'em.
The Motel was small, clean, comfortable and friendly. It was just far enough away from the Tourist Traps, yet close enough where we could ride to visit. Had gas & cafe within walking distance, and we woke in the mornings to the crow of a rooster. The people in the area treated us well, all in all, was a good ride and would do the 900 miles again. Lookin' forward to the National next month, this year is shaping up to be a very good year. The Nam Vets MC Patch is alive and well in the Northwest !

Greeting Brothers, Supports, Prospects & Friends!!

I've been quite for a bit, not much news out of my AO. Finally got my scoot back from the shop yesterday. Once again everything is working the way it's supposed to, fresh fluids brakes are good and the tires are fair. The air's not showing through anyway.

So my summer plans have changed some. Closing on a new house the end of the month. So I'll get moved before National and execute my plans to see Son and Grands after National. Hoping to get at least 5k on this summer, 10,000 would be a lot better. Trying to make up for the pitiful showing of the last couple of years riding. Or not riding as the case may be.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at National. Hopefully health and weather will hold and we'll have a great time.
