To all my Brothers, Prospects, Supports and lookers on; I have landed. Yes, it's Big Sky Country now and there is only looking ahead. It's a beautiful day although a bit windy! Tomorrow is the start of scouting out the new AO and get the lay of the land. I want to thank all my Brothers for their support over the past year. I'm looking forward to our NW Regional run and then on to NR18!!

Brothers; Supports; Prospects & random and assorted friends. Greetings from West, by God, Virginia!!

Almost all moved into the new digs. Thought I'd have some more time to get my remaining goods here but I guess the good news is my house sold a day and a half after listing.

So now I have to high-tail it back to Cheyenne load up the rest of my stuff and drive back here again. Third time in a month and Brothers I'm NOT looking forward to it. Last trip was almost 40 hours in my truck. Not as easy as it would've been several years ago.

Doing well here. Snowing which I'm NOT fond of but at least it won't snow here in late May. LOL

Anyway, I'm still alive and well.

Greetings to all Brothers, Supports, Prospects & Friends from the moderate climes of SE Wyoming!

I hope this finds you all well.

The move is progressing nicely, on 3/19 I'm headed East myself for a bit, pick up the girl child in MI then head down to the new homestead.

Hopeful the house will sell quickly. There is still a ton of stuff I could do, but it ain't happening.

The knee is doing nicely. Had my last PT session 3/16. Next Dr visit is in May.

My biggest news is that my long lost Sister contacted me 3/18. We'd both had our DNA done through ancestry(dot)com. Apparently their software matched us up pretty quickly.

I'm really excited to get to meet her and to get to know her. No idea where she is or what she's been doing but I'll be anxious to find out.

See y'all in a a little more than 3 months!!!

Greetings to all BROTHERS, Supports, Prospects and friends of NV M/C

Everything is good in my AO; just checking in with a status update.

My best to Brother Brelon for a speedy and full recovery.

We got Beth moved to our new location. The first gal we had a lease with at the absolute last minute cancelled out on us, so we went with no idea of where we were going to land.

We found a GREAT landlord in a virtually new house that is pretty large with reasonable rent. And it has several pluses; it's close to Beth's work, about 5 minutes; it's in town so no worries about internet, TV or any of the other necessities of life.

I flew back to Wyo and just yesterday finished packing (no I didn't pack a damn thing, a bunch of 20 year olds did though LOL) and 90% of my HHG are enroute to Beth.

I'm going to hang out here and get my house ready to sell; paint, rip up carpet, lawn work. The usual.

My knee is coming along, still trying to relearn how to walk on a healthy knee and not compensate with my hips. Having some back pain with that but I'll learn eventually. And they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks. HA!

Anyway Brothers I've rambled on enough so I'll say good night and see you all at National!!

Info Steamer:The uniform that I am wearing with the Smoky bear hat, I am very proud of, it is Honor Guard uniform we wear at the VFW I belong to Post 6310. We have been all over the state of Az. Buring vets in this uniform, rain, wind, heat, we always showed up. Its really tough when its one of your own. We also have at unit at National Cemetery, some times they would bury five vets a day. Vietnam Vets are the ones that hit close to home. Started with WWII, Korea, now us. Just wanted to share with respect. Prospect Steamer.

Get much enjoyment out of reading the posts here, it makes the cloudy, snowy days and freezing nights pass that much quicker. Thanks for those who take the time ! Thoughts turn towards hopefully a Regional, then or National. Those thoughts too seem to make my days pass quicker. Can't say how grateful I am, at this age, to put on my cut, throw a leg over the saddle, and hit the road, all the time knowing my Brothers across this Nation that are doing the very same thing ......... I will take 20 Brothers "who desires or who seriously wants" to wear this Patch, over a 100 who needs to be talked into or convinced this is the Patch for them. You all have my heart, my admiration, and my commitment ... LLRBF

Greetings and Salutations to all Brothers, Prospects, Supporters, and the curious.
Thank you Brother Dutch for the words from a warrior poet, written in iron and can never be disputed!
30 days to Spring, more time spent making plans, checking our machines, repairing and replacing questionable parts, and prepping gear for the good times ahead.
It's great seeing everyone in good spirits, on the mend, and keeping our eyes on the prize- NR18.
Just like all the years before, the world sometimes doesn't make sense, people are crazy, politicians breaking promises, and the threat of wars consume the daily news. The one solid truth is always our Brotherhood and the promise of a new day- better weather, dry roads, and the roar of our motorcycles.
I see our website is getting easier to find on the internet, and I'd like to thank our Brothers for creating, updating, and maintaining it to keep us educated, dedicated, and motivated- Thank you!!
So, here we go- counting down to the kick off of an outstanding new year!
Wishing everyone a good mood, good food, and hot coffee- fresh brewed!
LLRBF,
Brother Sling Blade NSAA

Heading into spring things are getting brighter. My Brother and ESAA Brelon is doing better, I'm so thankful for that. My wife is off curt he's and using a cane in therapy. Maybe a few weeks can lose the same.
The East is doing good, despite no spring run as of yet. Looking forward to the National and would love to see everyone. We are a dinosaur club and we are getting older, it is my wish that at least once I could meet, hug and welcome home every Brother. Remember wives and significant others are welcome.

WOO HOO big day for me today. Got back home from back East about noon; napped, bc that's part of what we do LOL; got up and mounted motorcycle wheel chocks in my trailer.

What made it a WOO HOO day was I actually DROVE my truck and RODE my motorcycle. Okay, I'll admit it wasn't very far, but I DID RIDE, in traffic. MAN IT FELT GOOD!!

Things are all in place for the big move. Headed out again on Monday with a load of BT's stuff so she can set up house and get to work. I'll be there a couple of weeks, then back here and packing up the rest.

Say Prez River or SAA Top, if you'se guys would like to lend a hand AFTER all is packed, I could use an assist painting and ripping up carpet. Say early March?

DG out for now

GREETINGS,
I believe it is the duty of the President of this fantastic Club to give a State of the Club report.
We are in GREAT shape, all members are present and accounted for.The three that were in the hospital are out and recovering. Our bank account has funds and is in the good hands of our National Secretary/Treasurer LAAM.The National Vice President is doing a great job on getting us a Club Ring so please contact Dutch with your order or no I'm not interested at this time. Once all have answered we will compile the picks and vote on a final design. You must submit your size.
We are growing as you know Steamer has completed his paperwork and has been approved for Prospecting.
Our web page is up and running with over 6000 visits, who would have thought that in less than a year.
River and the West members have found a great place for National and I hope all that can will attend.
My job as President has been a overwhelming job at times but the membership has come together and helped.I can hardly find the words to say how much that means to me.Thank you never seems to be enough.
With those thoughts I will close keep up the great job and please post here often so we know what is going on in your A.O.
