Greetings boss, patch holders, prospects and support. Glad to see you can get our posts up Boss. Was great to see everyone at the nationals but seems to short of time and weather not being the best for riding. Had a total of about 4000 miles by the time I got home. Drove thru a hellacious rain storm in MN. Been getting a few short rides in but never long enough. Getting ready for a trip overseas. Hopefully get some riding in when I get back. Good health to everyone and stay safe. Looking forward to next year and hopefully will get to see some brothers before the nationals. Take care Scooter. NVFFNV

sorry to say again I am unable to open the website.glad to see Brother Dutch has posted all of your posts so keep them coming.
Been looking for a good place for next year National Meeting, Harrison ARK Has been suggested and I will try to get down there and check it out. I have some friends who have been there and liked it priced the Super 8 and it’s a good price and good reviews. Near all the restaurants so that’s a plus and they offer a discount for motorcycle groups.
Maybe more members can start planning for the trip next year dates will be the in June probably the 21 st to the 25 th of course that is subject to changes.Anyone have any suggestions for a meeting place we have lots of time for planning.
Thanks for your help and support.

Got selected for the Honor Flight my cousin and i were talking the flight is with Southwest and my cousins daughter is a pilot for that outfit so she is trying to get that flight. Hope she can that would be great. I have never met her so. Not too many cousins left. Anyway, have a great year and see you wherever we end up

Greetings Boss Skinner, patched brothers, prospects and support. Seems we are going to have a wet summer or high temperatures. It’s either raining or in the 90s. Mostly rain. Found out I have a low red blood cell count. Seems it’s dropping every time I’ve had blood work. I hate the fatigue part of it the most. I feel I can fall asleep while driving, not a good thing. I have to pull over when it gets to the point I feel like I can’t keep my eyes open. Somewhat scary. Have another appointment in August with blood work again. Not sure what’s causing it. FYI Also found out after 70 they don’t do PSA tests. I bitched about that it seems older guys still get prostate cancer. Why would they stop? I requested one with my next blood work. Well anyway bought a cheap air cushion I can pump up to what suits me for my ass on the bike. It seems to be working so far. It does set me up a little higher than I like but it’s better than the pain. I’ll have to try it on a longer ride to make sure, if so then may invest in an air seat for the bike. Hope to get all this resolved soon so I can get back to a so called normal. But I’m still on the green side looking at blue. Well going to close I haven’t done much just hanging out close to home.
Take care everyone, God bless

Thought I would check in:
Adding another part to the Road King, a "black" extended brake pedel lever.
This will be my last, and the wife say's "yeah right".
Starting to think this motorcycle thing has become a 55 year obsession, something that never ends.
Have it in my head now, hoping that at some point this summer I can slip away for two days and make the Beartooth ride. Has been on the bucket list for a good while, one thing for sure, it won't get easier next year.
Hope all are doing well !

I made a consideration effort to physically attend the Nationals. I feel a little something about the 3,500 mile round trip l would of have and think the club should divide half east half west with Co leadership and the Nationals still a centerpiece. But really lam disappointed in myself.l packed a lite bag and a blanket and spend 3 days like a wet dog without a owner getting soaked. But l know if my budget had included more nights warm l would of been OK. There is a bright spot my 69 year old ass did get on the road and did feel fantastic on the dry road. I think members would don't make mandatory meetings should be fined and required to make up through being present at events closer to them. I also think due to our members age we should divide east and west with with combined events shared.

Greetings Boss, Patch Holders , Prospects and Supporters. On my way to the Nationals with a few stops along the way. Lost a good friend a few weeks ago, a retired army lt Colonel that flew helicopters during Vietnam war. He was laid to rest on memorial Day. Highly decorated. He was very articulate and a man of the world. He will be surely missed by all.see you all at the Nationals. Safe travels to all,

Greetings Boss Skinner, Patched Members, Prospects and Support. Less that a month until Nationals, time is going fast. Spent all Memorial weekend honoring our hero’s, with the American Legion and Vietnam Veterans of America. I’m so glad that Americans are now recognizing our veterans. Didn’t get to do a spring run this year, but planning one for fall.
Wishing everyone good health and good riding.

"To those who have fought for it, Life has a flavor that the protected will never know!" This was the maxim of the Vietnam soldier and those of us who served fully understand it. I served in the infantry for 6 months and then was rotated to Long Binh to work with soldiers suffering from combat fatigue. My Combat Infantryman's Badge allowed soldiers to feel comfortable talking with me. I chronicled my experiences into a memoir titled "Courage on the Mountain" which is a free read for Amazon Prime members. It has received over 900 five-star reviews and been read by thousands of our brother and sister veterans. As I said, it is a free read and I would be honored if you chose to view the introduction on Amazon and even more so if you decide to read it. I'm sure that you'll find it captivating. I'm glad that you made it home! May God Bless! Courage on the Mountain- courageonthemountain.com

Forgot to mention the VA gave me the best birthday present i ever had. 20/20 vision in both eyes, cataract surgery first time with out glasses in 68 years! So glad I signed up when I was 17 years old. I could't wait to be like my Dad. and had to damn near fight him to sign the papers so I could enlist. He understood, he had done 20 years in the Navy Korea 2 tours Viet Nam it.s a bond that can't be undone.

Greetings Boss, Patched Members and Support Crew, Thank You to all who wished me a happy birthday. First day of "t shirt" weather here. Started on usual inspection and tune up and adjustments on the Fat Boy found some costly problems but she's torn down waiting on parts. J&P gives pretty good veteran discount. Hopefully be in the wind in a week or so. Hope this finds everyone in good health and spirits.

Man what a opening to Spring. Tornadoes and floods could have floated in my front yard, washed out one of the city bridges and trees down houses gone holy shit what a mess we have been in .6 fatalities here in our county but we will move on and recover.
Hope all is good with the rest of you make sure to call and get your room looking forward to a great meeting.
A note to all this is my last year coming up as National President so if you are interested make sure your name gets out at this years meeting.Nine years is a long time and it has been a gas, interesting and sometimes trying time.Love and respect.
